Just an fyi if you guys aren't playing ranked teams you should really try to. It's massively different especially when on some form of voice chat. My headset broke on Tuesday and not having it has really really sucked these past couple of days.

Solo queue is still solo queue but after so much ranked 5s counter-jungling is stupidly easy since you're pretty much guaranteed no wards except at bottom lane until about people go back for the first time.

To Supports in bottom lane: When you have a jungle Alistar (I know he's nearly perma-banned but it does happen) avoid the usual meki + 2 ward + 1 pink and just start meki + 2 pink wards. Drop one in river and one in tri bush and you're basically guaranteed first blood or the ability to totally zone your opponents.

To those of you facing a jungle Alistar:
Mid:. ward one side of mid and hug the other side. Super long range champs like Gragas and Karthus work very well until Ali has ultimate.
Top: yeah it really sucks to be you. Play kenen or vlad and hope you get to level 2 before being ganked.
Bottom: Ward that tribush because will come through your jungle



I love Proving Grounds, it's basically a tutorial in teamfighting, dodging, hitting skillshots, learning champ abilities and cooldowns and is way more fun normal ARAM where eveyone is level 1 with no items for ages.

I've decided double G/10 Udyr doesn't agree with me, rush a wit's end or be useless all game. I've also got to get better teamfighting with him.

Any thoughts on Nunu now? I'm pretty sure he could be a beastly counter jungler but I'm not sure it's enough of an improvement that I couldn't just take Udyr and do the same things.

Should I learn Hecarim or Nocturne as my next jungler? I want someone whos not totally gank heavy like Ali or Lvl4+ Nautilus and not as farm focused as Udyr. I plan on getting better with J4 too since Naut/Ali are banned so often but the farm junglers seem to destroy him if you don't get first blood.

I've not been terribly impressed with any jungle Hec I've seen. It just seems like you can do much better with any number of other jungle champs. Like Noc! Fast clearing. Has non-directional dependent ganks pre-6 and probably the strongest gank once he gets his ultimate. Him, Naut, and Mundo are my go-to junglers right now.

She got popular after she was played as a counter-jungler in one tourney by one team to good results. But I don't think she's a standout jungler in any way.

New champ Zyra's abilities:

•Queen of Thorns (Passive): Upon dying, Zyra transforms into a vengeful plant that fires one last shot before expiring.
•Deadly Bloom: Zyra grows a bud at target location. After a brief delay it explodes, launching damaging thorns at all nearby enemies. If cast on a seed, Deadly Bloom grows a Thorn Spitter plant, which fires at enemies from afar.
•Rampant Growth: Zyra plants a seed, granting vision of an area for up to 30 seconds. Other spells cast on seeds will turn them into plants who fight for Zyra.
•Grasping Roots: Zyra sends forth vines through the ground to ensnare her target, dealing damage and rooting enemies they come across. If cast on a seed, Grasping Roots grows a Vine Lasher, whose short range attacks reduce enemy Movement Speed.
•Stranglethorns (Ultimate): Zyra summons a twisted thicket at her target location, dealing damage to enemies as it expands and knocking them airborne as it contracts. Plants in the area are enraged, increasing their Attack Speed.

New Xin Zhao's remake (based off a couple screen shots):
(Passive) - Challenge Xin Zhao challenges his target with basic attacks and Audacious Charge, reducing its armor by 15% for 3 seconds. Only one target can be challenged at a given time.

(Q) - Three Talon Strike Xin Zhao's next 3 basic attacks deal 15/30/45/60/75 (+1.2 total AD) physical damage and reduce his other abilities' cooldowns by 1 second. The final attack also knocks the enemy into the air. Cooldown - 9/8/7/6/5 Costs - 30 Mana

(W) - Battle Cry Passive: Xin Zhao heals himself for 26/32/38/44/50 (+.7 bonus AP) every third basic attack. Active: Xin Zhao unleashes a battle cry, increasing his attack speed by 40/50/60/70/80% for 5 seconds. Cooldown - 16/15/14/13/12 Costs - 40 Mana

(E) - Audacious Charge Xin Zhao charges and challenges an enemy. The charge deals 70/115/160/205/250 (+.6 bonus AP) magic damage to all nearby enemies and slows them for 25/30/35/40/45% for 2 seconds. Cooldown - 13/12/11/10/9 Costs - 60 Mana

(R) - Crescent Sweep Xin Zhao unleases a sweep around him, that deals 125/225/325 (+1 bonus AD) plus 15% of target's current health in physical damage and knocks enemies back. Xin Zhao gains 15/20/25 Armor and Magic Resistance for 6 seconds for each champion hit.

Shyvana is an awesome jungler just due to her clear times and insane early game damage output and speed. She doesn't have the cc for ganking, however should someone in the lane already have the CC required to hold them down for 2-3 seconds she can unleash a ridiculous amount of damage output early on.

Mundo being used in the jungle has taken her out of the limelight however, but I still find her to be a fun and still useful jungler though her ganking presence without red is pretty poor.

Edit: Wow I've hit a log-in queue for the PBE, I've never had that happen before.

New guy as in Jayce? He doesn't fulfill any 1 role well enough for me to care about using him seriously, though having such a strong overall kit means he can be a secondary to any role as well. He's fun to play with that's for sure, but he has serious limitations on his uses imo.

Now if you meant Zyra who hasn't be released yet, I'll just say she feels very lackluster after a game or two.

well GP in lane should be pretty hard to move now. he'll never run out of mana if you have philo stone, i'd expect. parley + GP5 = win?

He'll be able to harass with it now as well. It's like they don't want the players to have to make choices. GP needing to choose whether he can harass or farm with Parley? Nahhh. Let's just let him spam it all he wants and do both.

They added a Ryze-esque passive to Zyra's Q in the PBE today (Riot said the other day they were adding something else).



Also, in an attempt to make sure Eve/Twitch don't go too crazy early on they increased the invisible detection of towers a good bit. Here's a visual.

That's quite the buff on tower invis detection, but as long as the attack range stays the same it'll only really affect Eve. Twitch's remake makes him a bit more threatening mid and late-game, but I really dislike how Morello (or was it Phreak) that stated that his early game would still be strong, it'd just scale better.

Because that was a blatant lie. His E damage at level 1 is HALF of the pre-rework damage and it's damage scaling per rank is also considerably worse. The only increase in potential damage comes from having quite a bit of AD. His new W is fun and can be quite useful but I still prefer the pre-remake version of that as well. His ult is roughly the same in my eyes, sure there's no shot limit but since it does 20% less per target it travels through the damage output when firing into a mob is weak as all hell.

His Q is the only thing that made me think it was worth it, while the duration is ridiculously short (4,5,6,7,8) seconds as opposed to before the remake (10,20,30,40,50) the attack speed bonus having the same duration regardless of stealth duration is quite powerful. Not a real fan of the remake since it completely kills jungle twitch, and I don't see it being strong enough to make Twitch a player in the ADC position.

jarv/leon - pretty sweet kill lane, good damage

blitz-star - absolutely hilarious amount of CC. the rest of our team was J4, amumu, morg. we won teamfights quite handily, ahahahahahaha. christ it was great.

Game is broken after the latest patch. Several champions have zero cooldowns on their ults (heard about Casseopia, Eve, and WW so far, probably others as well). Expect server downtime.

Apparently what's happening is as soon as you get a kill your ult refreshes, first guy I saw who reported it ulted to init a fight as Casseopia and got a quick kill, then noticed it was up again so he ulted yet again.

Hilarious.

Though, I'm not sure it'll be considered a glitch really. It would be damn hard to pull off in a real game, and DOTA2 had a similar thing going on that they left alone.
