Grats!

Some news on the bundles.

1) Gamer's Bundle removed. Bundles are now price flexible so they cost less if you already own parts of them.

2) Commando Bundle - Lux, Xin, Jarvan, Garen, and Galio and their commando skins are 1300RP until 6/10 (50% off)

3) Grab Bag Bundle - iBlitzcrank, Deep Terror Thresh, Astronautilus (and each champ) for 2572RP until 6/10 (30% off)

4) All Star Bundle - Resistance Caitlyn, Hillbilly Gragas, Debonair Jayce, Mecha Kha'zix, Wicked Lulu (and each champ) for 2170RP until 6/10 (50% off)

Regarding the bundles I think they also have lower prices if you already own the champs. That Grab Bag sure looks sweet.

The prices are actually for the skins only, I realized (except for Damsels which is only champs). So if you don't own the champs for the skins in the All Star, Grab Bag, and Commando bundle then it'll cost the appropriate amount more.

edit: And to further clarify, any champ you don't own from the bundle is bought at the sale price of the bundle rather than their full RP amount. And any skin you own in the bundle is discounted as a portion of the sale price.

has anyone been getting massive lag spikes this weekend?

it made a few of my games unplayable.

I haven't had lag problems but my client has crashed more than usual including crashing twice trying to get into one ranked game.

Looks like patch 3.8 will be coming out tomorrow, with some of these being the confirmed changes:

- All jungle camps now spawn at 1:55. Wolves and mini-golems now spawn every 50 seconds. Buff monsters now give more XP
- Malady removed. Nashor's now does scaling on-hit magic damage. Wit's End steals 5 MR stacking per hit (max 25).
- Hec's ult no longer does AOE damage at the landing spot, though his riders now deal a little more. His E can now jump small obstacles if he has a target to hit on the other side.
- All Doran's items are now cheaper, so you can buy pots as well (wow it's back to square one as I remember that opening item start in S1) though their HP amounts have been lowered.
- Madred's now does bonus damage to minions per hit rather than the 25% chance to do a huge chunk of damage.
- Kha'zix no longer deals passive bonus damage on evolved W. You also can't fire W while in mid-jump. Evolved Q no longer needs isolation to deal % health damage (isolation now increases Q's damage by 45%). And evolved R's damage reduction while stealthed is now 50%
- All the Spirit items are getting bumped up to 30% additional damage to monsters/minions. EL and SW are losing 10 AD/AP from their stats.
- Ashe's passive Concentration now stacks 3/4/5/6 every second and gives you a crit at 100.

I really wonder how much the jungle meta will change, it really has the potential to radically change.

Thoughts on Ashe's passive change?

Khazix. Is W still worth evolving or is Q pretty much a priority now?

stacking crit on ashe will be pretty damn worthwhile, i think. still important on any ADC, but gives her great follow on poke (W--> auto or vice versa)

i imagine khazix in lane will still go W, but jungle it will likely be worth getting Q for ganking potential

the dorans change is funny. Back when i started playing the starting item was always DORAN + Pot.
Then they thought dorans were too powerful and made it more expensive as to not be able to buy anything else.
now (like 1 year and a half later) they changed it back the way it was before. now you buy a dorans ring and 2 pots.
they didnt change dorans sword?

btw... i stopped playing for some months, and now im back...but the jungle had so many changes i dont even want to start learning jungling again... i just wanna play mid... is there like a script to call mid as soon as everyone accepts the queue? would be great haha
anyone care to code it?

The dorans change is dumb, now everyone is forced back to getting a dorans and pots again, you can not start with anything else. Some passive top laners might start pots and wards, but anyone will kill potential will start dorans now.

I thought it was fine as is, people still bought the items on their first back, don't see the reason for this change at all.

I'm looking forward to the Ashe passive change. Ashe was my first ADC and I love hitting clutch arrows, but she's suffered a lot from the power/mobility creep with new champ releases. I think it will have a great impact. Ashe's old passive was only good in two situations: invades and first AA when you come back from buying/death. Late game, you're already stacking plenty of crit chance between IE+PD. Outside of those it was completely random and you might crit a creep once you get 40% stacked or you might not get a crit when you attack the enemy ADC at 80%. Either way, the counter reset and you had to stop attacking to get its benefit again.

The new passive should not only be way more easily controlled, but more impactful. You need 34 seconds of not AAing to build up a crit at rank 1 and it doesn't reset when you attack. Guaranteed crit at 100. So as a conservative guesstimate, figuring in last hitting and harassment, you'll probably load up a crit every minute or so during laning phase. That'll be big. A lot of ADC players run a single red crit chance rune just in the hopes the RNG favors them and they get that "lucky" crit because it's a huge swing in the balance of the lane. And late game, you'll be critting nearly all the time if you build the usual IE+PD.

New Mode Idea:

You can use only ults and autoattacks (since I dont see a realistic way around that) or possibly another scenario is you get 1 ability at max rank and thats what your char uses for the duration. Making team planning important.

It takes place in a smaller room with 3 nexus on each side. Each side also has 2 towers that cannot be killed and they can reach you anywhere in the room. These towers could attack based on a few different rules:

a) attack everyone round robin
b) attack whoever uses ult (so you are punished to a degree for it)
c) attack whoever is attacking nexus

There is a shop you spawn by but no "base" to protect you.

There are no minions.

The twist is, you can only hit the nexus while someone from the opposite team is dead. (so it would more or less act like a human inhibitor) and could be impacted by masteries and spells.

I don't have it all 100% worked out of course. Still debating on money/kills etc.

Stupid, but was just brainstorming that a fast paced version would potentially switch up how the game is played

As far as I know, they only dropped the price of ring and shield. That being said, flask was too powerful compared to ring for the price. Old Dorans items also gave 100 HP instead of 80 (for the original cost of 400g). New Dorans Ring only gives 60HP. I regularly go Dorans Blade first on my Ez games. I also happen to have 4% lifesteal on my quints and 11AD, so I've got plenty of regen without pots. Mid laners don't have that same luxury.

Old Dorans items were far far too cost effective. It was very common to see ADCs and AP mids with triple dorans for mid-game dominance (control objectives, gank lanes, etc).
