funny, cause you can build an awesome mid range gaming PC for ~$600 that will run games perfectly fine at 1280x1024. let's not forget that games for PC get cheaper with time, too.

Wonder what exactly is new other than the weaps. I just put Halo 2 back in this past weekend and gotta say, it was a ton of fun - haven't played it in a while and it was a nice change. (Played Halo 1 like crazy back during the XBC days, and Halo 2 for years straight) Just doesn't seem like much has changed really, except a new weapon or two. Hell it's not even a new level. I like Zanzibar and all, but at least beta a new level. I'm kinda meh.

The AR is much different than the SMG. The AR isn't DWable, which is good. They wanted to make you start with a weaopn that you can't duel wield so that the game doesn't turn into a duel wield fest like it did with part 2.
The AR in this video looks like it's more powerful and more useful than it was in Halo 1.

Well yea I understand the AR isn't DWable...but the SMG was worthless. Unless you noob comboed someone, it was a worthless.
I couldn't tell if the AR was more powerful this time around though...the one time where he was engaged with someone with the AR, he killed him, but turns out there was a guy helping him out too.
Meh. Guess it's time to go find somebody's copy of Crackdown and find out if it's worth the fuss.

Oh I agree about the SMG, it was a worthless gun completely. And yah you can't really tell the power of the AR because of the other guys attacking too.
When I initially played Halo 2 I though tit was perfect. It took me probabl 3 weeks to realize how many flaws the game had. DWing was cool for a few weeks until I realized how much it took away from the game and was just not a way to show who has more skill than someone. It was basically you attack someone who's not DWing and you win, wow that's fun!
And I hate how the people who make these games always suck so bad at them. It looked like the guy in the video was playing it for his first time lol.

I wouldn't necessarily say that's a Bungie employee...I doubt they'd be the ones leaking the video. I'm pretty sure there's a group of people who already have access to it beta testing...much like those Alpha shots a few months ago. (Which, just like the Elite 360, you called BS on)
Hopefully it's a little bit more balanced though. I know I'll still buy the game and still play it all the frickin' time, but just doesn't look revolutionary or anything to me.
