Grab it before it gets taken down. It's about 300 Mb.

It looiks pretty damn good. Graphics/lighting are pretty nice, especially considering this is only the beta build. Zanzibar looks pretty huge though and the players almost look tiny on the map.

Also, they really need to speed up the player movement. It looks like you move too slow.

Halo you moved faster than in halo 2, and in halo 3 it looks like you move slower than in halo 2 :/

So I'm hoping that is fixed up.

i'm a PC fan at heart.. but one of the most awkward things in halo, above all else, is movement speed and jumping. i feel like a slug wherever i go.

I think they may have. It's really sad-it's like they cater to the mainstream players by making things like dual wielding, while ignoring the fact that the power players just want a balanced game. What they fail to realize is the mainstream players will play it anyways.

*sigh* Oh well. Halo 2 was pretty fun too. Me and my friends system link a lot. I prefer halo 1, but I've had a lot of fun with halo 2 aswell.

I mean that in the way that Halo plays a lot like PC FPSes...just the feel of it. Compare Timesplitters (or some other random console FPS) and you'll see what I mean. Halo (1) feels like a PC game, for the most part.

Halo 1 was amazing but I played it to death with my friends... literally my junior high existence was playing halo from the pretty much the Christmas it was released till a few months before Halo 2. I cannot play Halo 2 it like hurts me deep down in side, and really I feel no need for Halo 3 at all.

I think Bungie lost an important audience with Halo 2, which will show in Halo 3's sales.

This looks sooooo lame... This thing has like 60 degree fov. I have mine typically set to 120 just to see better, but then again, I don't play nor own console.
