Well, the one that works is nice. My dad is rather deaf, so those 300W of surround sound + Schwarzenegger movies = LOUD!

Better than my $80 AMW surround system, that's for sure!

Actually, it's just one of my systems. I don't bring in my main system every night..that would be crazy.

And to add, it was -10F last night....brought it right in and turned it on..no problems. I've been doing this for the past three years...

The fact remains that if it's cold enough outside for you to worry about it, it's generally not going to be humid enough anywhere to cause problems with condensation unless you bring it into a enviroment that is super humidified artificially...like a green house or something.

It's so dry where I work that if I have a bottle of water frozen solid, I will get no condensation at all on it.

EDIT: With DCD/CD players, it is possible for fog to build up on the laser part right when it's brought inside which can make it appear to be broken. But if you let it warm up for an hour or so first, then normally they work fine. What do you think happens when electronics get shipped to stores in the middle of winter? THey get just as cold as leaving something in your garage but they all still work fine because they are allowed to warm up.

I don't agree on the LCD panel. My Planar LCD has been outside for hours in temps as low as -20F, and when I bring it in it fires right up...

Unless there is a major difference with a laptop LCD.
