LED Case Fans $4 Shipped

Was looking for some LED case fans for my new case mod, and happened upon this:

You can get a code from Pricewatch.com (search for LED fan) for use on their site to reduce the shipping to free for 1 fan, or $1/fan ordered. I got 3 for $12.00 after shipping...not bad! PCIMicro has a 8.75 on Reseller Ratings, so they seem pretty decent.

What is the quality of these fans? how do they compare to antec fans?

ok, this is the one that advertised at pricewatch

led fan $2 + $1 shipping

however, this is sleeve bearing fan come in black or blue led.

the $3 one is ball bearing w/ blue, red, green led to choose from.

Take note that they're displaying a UV-reactive fan on that page, NOT the product they're describing. I have a couple of the fans they describe, they have a pair of blinking LEDs in the hub, not very visible and not all that impressive. And most definitely NOT brilliantly lit like the one in the picture. Be careful.

Whats the difference between the regular led fans and the UV-reactive fans?

LED fans light up on their own while UV fans require a UV light source...kinda like walking under a UV light while wearing a white t-shirt or something

uv fans plastic actually glows under uv light.
the best uv ones have UV leds that help light the uv reactive fan by itself. very neat. you can find them at svc.com svc also has the normal led fans with 4 leds in the corners for cheap. the ones in the hubs are kinda shoddy, i'd never buy em for an visible mount.

Dunno...for $3 I'll try it. I'll have to see what makes it blink and see if I can disable it.

no offense, but these fans suck.

I got 3 for $12 and was expecting some blue LED fans. On the contrary, these fans only blink a spec of blue like every other second or so.

hehe mine DONT blink. I wish the LEDS were all the same color but i knew that by the pic in the link.

SVC has some $1.49 Quad LED fans. I'm sure if you buy more than one, you'll be landing an even hotter deal. I got 6 fans for less than $10 including tax. I live local so I picked up from the warehouse.

yes they are pretty bright. I have 4 of them in the case now. There nice any quiet too.
