Hey could a led grow light actually throw off that much of a spectrum? 580 -1000nm?

Different LEDs. I doubt they are pulsing the voltage to each colour LED to modify their wavelength though. So it's more like four wavelength instead of full spectrum.

I can't speak to the quality of the linked bulbs...but this is not anything new...they've been available for years...and (hopefully) getting better and better as the tech gets better.

Yes, lights with LEDs can cover a broad range of spectrums, but if you took at their claimed spectrum, it is nothing like sunlight.

phosphors, multiple LEDs....
they posted a picture of their spectrum, if you can assume it's legit, you should look at it and see if it features what you need for your plants (I saw a video once where they were growing salad with just 2 colors, not a full spectrum).
For sure it's not the same as sunlight.
