LED Monitors Inquiry, if you have a LED monitor please come inside

So, I have been walking around trying to find the perfect LED screen to buy. Anyway, after selecting some of those screens, I found something weird. Inspecting the screens carefully, I found that the image does not extend to the monitors frames. In other words, if you look between where the image displayed ends and the frame, you will find 1-3 pixel lines not displaying anything depending on the model. If you are still confused, you got the screen's frame and inside it you got the 1-3 pixel lines border(frame) and inside that you got the image displayed on the screen. Could this be that the frame is not aligned right or is this a screen fault? Please inspect your monitors closely and let me know.

P.S. I am not talking about a specific video I am talking about everything. I know about black bars. Though, this is not the issue here. The pixel lines I saw were not even lit.

I suggest you buy a $300 Samsung PLS Display Korean QNIX 2510 Evo II (2560x1440p) and run DVI-D then make up your mind.

Anyway, I think this is a case of the bezel around the screen not extending all the way to the first line of pixels, not the other way around. I have 3 IPS/LED monitors that all look like that. My LED/LCD TV does not, the bezel borders the first line of pixels perfectly.

Even if I tried adjusting the picture, it's still the same. Basically, there is nothing wrong with that tiny line being there.

Bezels!!!! You don't need Bezels with a PLS LED display if you're 1/2 ingenious to make them work at between 60 to 120 Mhz's that have 4k Pixel Density at 2560 x 1440p - For a $300 endeavor, today, The QNIX 2510 Evo II is well worth the reward and learning step to where you want to go with Displays in the future.

Thanks for the feedback, Z15CAM. I am looking for a 23" screen max to use as my PC monitor. If you have any suggestions with that size that are designed right, would be really helpful.

chimaxi83, thanks for the information. Thats really helpful. I asked Samsung about this and they could not confirm anything. I had two theories:

1. The firmware is not tweaked right to display the image up to the frame.
2. The frame or bezel is not designed right.

I saw two types of monitors. Ones that are missing 1-3 pixel lines (mainly 1 pixel line). Also, I saw other monitors missing around 5-6 pixel lines. Actually, one model of a LED TV had both. The Malaysian version had 0-1 pixel lines while the Vietnamese version had 5-6. I am trying to make the right purchase, cause I am the regretting type .

Btw, what brands are those screens of yours that are susceptible to the 1 pixel line gap?

I have an LED monitor and an LED TV, both ips panele. I do not notice this on either.

LG E1941 - There is a black border between the working display and the plastic bezel. I can confirm those arent disabled/ dead pixels. The backlight does not bleed through them. It is around 3 pixels wide.
