I just wanted to report back on spice. Ladies and gentlemen...it is official...this is a legal substitute for cannabis. I would say the experience is 95% similar. It works amazingly well! Spice Arctic Synergy and Spice Diamond Spirit are really good.

A gram isn't very much product...is this strictly pipe stuff or can it be rolled by itself just like normal stuff?

This makes me much less interested in trying a 'spice' blend. Another thing you may want to consider if you are looking to pass a drug test...a chemical that is structurally similar to THC could give you a positive result. I have heard of such things.

Spice contains jwh-018 I believe. If you look for just those substances, they are easy to buy. I have not tried them, nor do I smoke anything illegal. But I've read a lot about those chemicals...

A gram of jwh-018 goes for around $50. That's not too much when you consider that most reports state that all you need is around 5 miligrams. That would give you around 200 doses. The only problem is you'd have to be able to weigh out the correct amount... I wouldn't eye ball 5 mg. It'd be easy to take way too much.

WTF? If you want a marijuana-like high...buy marijuana. It's readily available, (albeit a bit expensive nowadays) usually carries minor possession penalties, is rarely contaminated with toxic chemicals, (although opium soaked thai sticks used to be pretty dammed good) and in the long run, isn't harmful to your body.

There's always the leaves of the nightshade plant. Contains belladonna...a very powerful hallucinogen. The down side is that it also contains some highly poisonous alkaloids that don't require a large dose to be deadly...(thus the name "deadly nightshade." Nightshade is also the source for atropine...

DO NOT mess with this stuff, very dangerous. Belladonna, Datura, Brugmansia, mandrake and henbane. These are considered the 'witchcraft' drugs. Just read some of these reports. I grow these plants out of fascination, but wouldn't even consider trying to get high from them. They are freakin cool as an ornamental though, especially the Brugmansia in full bloom.

Jimson was fairly big around here in the 70s. A lot of people messed themselves up using it. It's a neat flower though. The flower and seed pods smell like shit. You see them a lot in cow pastures.

Hmmm....maybe it's the cow shit you are smelling, or a different variety of jimson I have not encountered. I have grown 3 different species, and the flowers smell absolutely intoxicating and amazing. Not just me, lots of friends have commented on how good they smell. The brugmansia is even better.

Not at all. I think they use flys to pollinate. They have purple trumpet shaped flowers, and spiky seed pods.

That is very interesting...

My daturas attract bees like no other. It's really sort of cute...they actually wait outside the opening flower until they can squeeze into it. I have never heard of a fly being much of a polinator of any plant, but suppose it's possible.

I have a purple flowered datura, but it is a native of India and can't grow here. The only daturas I have seen in the U.S. have white flowers. Perhaps someone was growing these intentionally, as they can survive a summer, thus the purple flowers. Otherwise maybe you are mistaking these for henbane plants, which do have a purplish colored flower and they smell just aweful. No spikey seed pods on henbane though, that is a datura thing. I dunno.

That' interesting. I looked it up on wikipedia, and the picture matches what I see in the fields,but it didn't mention a bad smell. They definitely have purple flowers, and spiky pods, but they smell kind of like skunk bud, but 10* worse. It's like they took all they negatives of skunk, and amplified them. The seed pods smell bad too.

It's not all that similar in structure though... THC almost looks like an opiate with a carbon chain of atoms attached.

They're not the same obviously, but there are some similarities. Infact, there was a time when the cannabinoid receptor was thought to be part of the opiate receptor family in the body.

You fail a drug test because some of the metabolites of THC stay in the body for weeks, they are fat soluble. I doubt you'd get any similar metabolites from one of the jwh chemicals.

What would be the benefit of that compared to pot? Will, like I said earlier $50 gets you maybe 200 doses. It's completely 100% legal (for now). You will almost certainly pass a drug test... even if you just ingested 10 mg orally and smoked another 5 mg than went and took the test, you'd likely pass. You could use it on the stealth. The way it tickles your cannabinoid receptors may give you a similar, but not identical 'high' compared to mj (there are two different subtypes of cannabinoid receptors that I know of, slightly different affinity for one over the other compared to THC will likely give you a simliar yet not idential feeling).

OK, some of the earlier posts claimed this was a synthetic version of THC, that is why I assumed they were structurally similar. That clears this up for me.

Oh well...it sounds kind of fascinating but as earlier stated it's pretty easy to come by the real thing in Denver. I like natural plants and tend to stay away from chems. I intend to go legal as well.

Agreed. While it was legal in FL I turned into a freakin wizard or something. I purchased a blosser clone and had at least 8 plants growing and was collecting leaf all the time. I agree about using an "extract", but don't buy it at the mall and don't treat it like a drug.

It's very much NOT a party drug. It's meant to be used alone, its a very introspective experience. I likened it to "going to visit the salvia gnomes". I seriously felt like I visited another world for about 15 seconds. It's not something that fucks you up or that you can do and go have fun. Trying to do more will land you a headache.

You also really shouldn't try mixing with a doob or alcohol or anything else. Do use a torch and do keep that fucker going like a crackrock. You'll know fairly quickly (like within 5 seconds or so) if you are having a nice trip over there or not. If you don't - well there is always tomorrow.

Otherwise the diviner's sage is meant to be enjoyed and personally used. I'm not a fan of buying it, you should get a plant (ideally be given one) and grow it yourself. Extracts are simple to do.

Now that its illegal in florida - thanks youtube - all that is over with. No big loss though. I don't miss her.

I don't agree that it should be used alone. You may experience periods where you lose conciousness or where your perception of reality is so warped that you cannot handle or even recognize if something bad were to happen such as a fire being started etc.
