As is drunk driving, but that's of little consolation when a drunk driver kills your loved ones.

As is having a loved one shot in the middle of a gang war

I considered myself a Liberatrian until I heard Harry Browne tell Bill O'Reilly he was for complete and unregulated legalization of drugs. This would make cocaine and heroin OTC, and kids could by them. Libertarians are nut-jobs when it comes to the drug question.
If even ONE child could get drugs I'm against it.

In the end, that's too true. However, the gun does not impair your judgements or abilities. The gun is much the like the car, being controlled by the person using it, however poorly.

I think the point trying to be made here, both are the result of drugs. Everything is a tradeoff, legalizing isn't the perfect solution, but neither is banning them. You have to take the least imperfect, which IMHO, is legalization/decriminalization.

I see your point now, I didnt see his because I dont believe that legalizing drugs will stop gang wars.
Too many dead bodies,
think of how many people don't do drugs because they are illegal. Now if they where..

Kids can get drugs easier than they can get booze or tobacco. Drug dealers don't ask for ID.
Take it from a guy who had a cocaine problem way back in high school. It was FAR easier to score blow and pot than a 12 pack.
Libertarians aren't nut jobs. Just realists when it comes to the drug question.
