I brought up guns because you claimed that drug laws are inconsistent with traditional constitutional values, an opinion that I agree with, but is actually a position full of hypocrisy if it does not equally apply to attempts to ban guns. The rights, both enumerated and unenumerated, spelled out or implied in the constitution, rights the constitution either specifically tells you you have, or imply the government must not make illegal, are all there in the constitution and thus embodied in our American constitutional tradition.

I did not mention this out of any emotional attachment to guns. I mentioned it because there are so many people cheering the demise of the imbecilic war on drugs, recognizing how deviant it is constitutionally, while at the same time now pushing for a government effort to go to war against guns. I find it comic. People can’t seem to get past viewing the world and their belief system based solely on whether or not it is their ox that gets gored. All you have to do these days to generate hostility in others is to tell the truth.

As for lacking an appreciation for why others may think they wish to take drugs, did you read the link I posted. Very interesting stuff even if I have known it, let’s say, a very long time.

I could describe enlightenment as the sudden realization that the seeker is a figment of imagination.

I have all of these dreams that on drugs my situation will change, that I will be in a better place so I dream these dreams of change. And that’s all fine and dandy until I have to make some effort to obtain them. Then it’s, why the fuck bother with that. Then it’s lily and sparrow time. “Far out, man”is right here.

Now if drugs could just magically appear in the mail, now that might be tempting especially if a match were included.

Bro, I never said I wanted to ban guns. Why would you continue to beat this strawman?

Do you just like to hear your own keystrokes?

If you’d like to see hypocrisy, I suggest you look in the mirror.

All these deaths seem to be acceptable losses for you, a very ego driven perception.

Even in states where it's legal there are still some stupid regulations on the books. Specifically the first one for WA state is no personal grows, second I found out this morning while picking up my monthly Sunday Oz 30% off deal, I tried to also buy a couple g's of some concentrate. Sorry, I cannot fulfill that order. You can only purchase an OZ once a day. Stupid silliness. I find 0 logic of what they are trying to prevent.
Well, well, well. So it's Terp Tuesday's (30% off concentrates) at the store and I go to get the 2 grams that I didn't get Sunday, and the lady who sold me the OZ on Sunday was working there and I mentioned the thing that happened Sunday and she was all apologetic and said when they brought the 2 packages from the back of the store, she thought those were flowers and she said that she told me she couldn't sell me anymore flowers and I nodded so she assumed they were flowers. Anyway, there is a 28 gram limit on flowers, but you can still buy 7 grams of concentrate, and 75 oz of liquid edibles.
So, a misunderstanding. Party on.
Oh yea, 1g was 90% the other was 92 and cost a total $14.

24 plus Washington, DC. I wonder if over half the population of the country is now subject to federal conviction for what is legal under state law. So far the feds have taken a hands off policy, but who knows what sort of crazy Attorney General pops up in the future. Jeff Sessions (Trump's first AG) was death on pot, he viewed it as dangerous as heroin. I don't know but I suspect Trump reigned him in from mass arrests. It was certainly within his power to do so under current law.

Seems strange. You can partake of MJ in 1/2 the states, but are a criminal if you do so in the other half. Crazy ass.
There are more where it's medical only. Here's a nice little map showing status of various states.

That's kind of tough for me. I'm 100% green blind and can't completely assign all states to their respective sets. I hate most color based charts.

I gave up smoking marijuana and now strictly use a vaporizer. My weed lasts 3 times further since stopping combustion, tastes sooo much better and almost no smell.

They have the states listed alphabetically underneath with a link for checking that states law.

Visited a friend a couple weeks ago. He works sober but after hours hits his bong bigtime. I mentioned a Firefly vaporizer (I have one). His response is that he likes the smell of his grass. Hearing him cough like crazy had me thinking he should think about something less harsh on his lungs. He's turning 60.

But will the feds go after you if you do it in a state that allows it by statute?
Under current DOJ policy (not law, can change any time) Feds will not go after residents of enlightened states unless they are interstate dealing, smuggling, other illicit drugs, essentially. Currently plain jane consumers won't be gone after by the feds.

Note-the feds still have many roadblocks to state legal pot vendors, especially in the banking/credit card aspects.

That sucks, I can see that the shades in the key match the different areas. Couldn't tell you what's green or brown or whatever though. Sitting in a presentation by the director of the department I used to work in, he was a spreadsheet maniac and loved multiple shades of green. I hate the over use of color coding. Bring back hashes, and shades of light and dark.
If they (you know them) keep it up, maybe we can be declared handicapped and get some tax breaks.

Feds should legalize, then impose a reasonable national tax, but exclude edibles from the tax. States should reduce tax on edible version.

But people would complain that the colors are so pretty. They are clueless how we CB people suffer. I'm tired of trying to explain it to people.
