Lego Batman?

So who has played this title, what do you guys think so far? I will be picking a copy up from the local walmart on friday the 3rd, I am just trying to get an idea of what the general consencus is.

Me and my son just got this yesterday and have only played through 3 levels, but so far the game is great! If you like the other Lego games (Indiana Jones - Star Wars) you wont be disappointed. Batman and Robin have some pretty cool attack moves and suits with special abilities.

I'm going to get this for my daughter and it will be for the PC. Steam has it for $29.99. We have Star Wars for the Wii and Indiana Jones on the DS. It will look great on the PC and looks like it's also the cheapest way to go.

Loved the SW ones probably because of the license, wanted to like Indy but the constant platform jumping (and subsequent falling to death) annoyed the hell out of me. Think I'm done with the franchise. I don't have kids though.

I'll be getting it soon, also. Will be getting the 360 version so my wife and I can play it together.

I played through and beat it with a friend, we're working on 100% right now.

If you liked the past Lego games, get this for sure. It improves on a lot of the mechanics of the game. The camera is still a real bear sometimes though. The story is pretty good for being original. They did a really good job on Harley, she seems really cutesy.

I loved the Lego Star Wars games and was bored with the Indy version. I figured that was because of the lack of lightsabers, cool weapons and powers. I've played some of the Batman version and, at this point, the Lego games are just the same thing over and over. I think I'm also done with Lego games.

I am torn about getting PC or 360 version. PC cuz its much cheaper. 360 cuz pop and play pllus I can bring it to mf GFs house and play there as I have another 360 there.

Your PC will run it like butter. I play with my son using two 360 controllers ironically enough. BTW, there's no more pop and play than double-clicking and launching a cracked .exe file .

I tried the Indy demo but it didn't appeal to me for the same reason, and it also got repetitive very quickly. Are the Batman or SW games better?

I'm a big Lego hobbyist in real life, but I couldn't really warm up to what I saw in that demo.

I finished it (100% completion) a few days ago and really enjoyed it. I liked the fighting better than in the previous LEGO games. I didn't enjoy the Wayne Mansion games very much, but it's just an extra.
The only thing that really kept me from loving it as much as the Star Wars and Indy ones was that the nostalgia effect was missing. I felt like I was playing through the movies with the previous games, and the Batman one was just another game.
I highly recommend it for fans of the series!

I just picked this thing up after my girlfriend actually admitted that she liked it. We played the demo and she kept giggling, so I snagged it at WalMart.

I think we'll have to pick up some controllers, though. Keyboard is awkward for 2 players.

I've had it for a couple of weeks now and my wife and I are about 70% done.

The puzzles are better, though still not overly complicated. But much better than the Indy heiroglyphic puzzles. Also, it seems a lot of the canisters (can't remember what they're called) can't be had until you play free play, which is a pisser. I do like the two story lines, superhero and villian, however. It's a nice spin.

BTW, we have it on the 360.

We have it for the Wii and it is pretty neat.
