That's pretty cool! I imagine the frame is made of metal or wood though? I can't imagine lego alone being strong enough bond to stay together. Incredible that the engine is all lego too though and is actually strong enough to push the car.

Hmm could be. I bet ABS or PVC glue would work wonderfully for legos, depending on what kind of plastic they use. You're never, ever, ever taking those apart again. Even the lego remover tool wont save you.

If that car got into an accident, would first responders need steel toe boots to safely walk on the scene?

Lego uses either MEK (small sections/quick jobs) or GBL (full model construction) solvents.
