Lego Indiana Jones

So I went and bought this game and I knew that I would be playing it with a controller but the problem is that I cant seem to figure out how to configure the controller to control the characters in the game, has anybody else had this problem? what did you do to solve this.
The controller that I am using is an older microsoft wingman, it has only got one analog stick but this is the same controller that I have been playing Lego Star Wars for a very long time with no issues whatsoever.
The game reconizes the controller but it wont let me bind any keys, what am I doing wrong?

Lego Indiana Jones is pickier on controllers. I ran into the same problem that my controller would not work. I found in the FAQ on their support web site this info:
The game supports dual-analog gamepads,
Required number of controller inputs:
2 analog sticks (4 axes) and 11 buttons
or 1 analog stick (2 axes) and 15 buttons
or 19 buttons.


When I used a controller with 2 analog sticks it worked fine. I found this a little odd since I do not even use the right analog stick and the left stick and the directional pad basically do the same thing so it seems like a controller without those (like you have) would have worked. I picked one with 2 sticks up for $20 at Fry's.

I've been playing it some with my son (him on keyboard) and it seems fun. My kids played the Lego Star Wars games and liked them but I had not tried them much (just saw them play it some).

I did. Wife and I finished it to 100% completion in about a week.

I used a 360 controller, that's what it's made to use. I really enjoyed the game by the way.
