Imgur user doomhandle shared his recently completed Tyrant Imperial Star Destroyer and it’s awesome. Measuring 4 ft, 7 in (1.4 m) long and weighing over 70 pounds (32 kg); it also features a three-level interior with characters, ships and removable sections.
The design is based on the 2014 LEGO Star Destroyer Set (75055) and the custom-design was built entirely with readily available LEGO pieces. It’s about 20 times the size of the official LEGO Star Destroyer set which allows for a lot more customization inside.

That thing looks to be in a perfect spot for the dog or cat or Mother in Law to tip it over. I would chuckle.

In all seriousness I expect any wife worth having would support her husband having some type of hobby. She would probably rather have him home working on building a Lego Star Destroyer than down the street drinking at the local bar with his buddies. This is similar to the guys that have a passion for model railroad building and build some amazing layouts.

Admittedly my Fiancee is a huge star wars fan and she's talked about doing a Lego project but again the time & money would be a no go for her.
I saw a show on Lego it looks like the most Gen y company possible. No assigned desks take whatever one you want just take all your stuff home when you leave, creative rooms that are silent no talking ever, I forgot what they called it but essentially everyone had their own title for the exception of a few manager folks, only organic food, fruit & healthy snacks in vending machines.
I know this sounds like paradise to some but I imagine there are all kinds of special flowers there.
The actual production, packaging and shipping is done be a handful of people its almost completely automated
I built a giant X-Wing out of Legos about 12 years ago. It was indeed awesome...for about 4 days. Then it became a "what are you going to do with that thing????" source of contention with the wife.
This guy knows how it works.
"Why are you doing that when you need to be painting, cleaning, building an addition on the house, etc etc etc..."
