They both do and any Think branded card and Intel card has worked without Access Connections since day 1.
What goops it up is the following:
- History of shitty Intel drivers.
- Users not understanding the dependencies of power management, Hot Keys utilities, Driver version and Access Connections versions.
Yes.. Lenovo made using Access Connections a bit of a pain in regard to those dependencies. If you are one that does not want to use the Lenovo (Intel) wrapped WiFi driver from their support site, then you should at minimum, not use Access Connections.
Using their System Update tool takes all the work out of knowing those dependencies by the way.
