It was my suspicion before I started this thread that the whole lenovo-tapes.com site is a publicity stunt put on by lenovo to elevate their perceived image of high technology and research that organizations like NASA and IBM have.

The laptop was not an instant on machine, it had shutters that closed to cover the keyboard and screen when it decected an incoming spill .
