Lucifer isn't the name of the devil, and isn't even found in modern bibles.
I'm surprised since a priest has told me otherwise. Are you in some sect that has a specific interpretation of "the devil"?

So wait.....because they want it to mean more than it does they are right?
'Lucifer' is simply a name that the Church uses to refer to a spiritual being. Just because the creed that you've chosen to follow decides that they want to use it differently doesn't really have much significance for me.

Actually, I'd rather trust in my own understanding and the understanding of an institution of people who have devoted their entire life to scripture than some crackpot on the internet. Go ahead and believe what you want about the history of the use of the name 'Lucifer', but when you start telling me that my beliefs are not right because of some wacked-out revisionist biblical history then you can go shove that up your @ss.

This is just dead wrong, and it really surprises me that people would perpetuate something so stupid.

When a human, or most animals (not sure, but maybe all) dies, they defecate and urinate. I learnt this when my dog passed away
Yeah, I learned that on South Park a couple of weeks ago.
