What are some lesser known TV shows that you like?
The 3 that I am going to post about are British shows so maybe they are popular in the UK, but not in the USA.
I've been touting Green Wing every chance I get. It's probably the funniest show I've seen since It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. It's a hospital comedy sort of like Scrubs, I guess, but the characters and situations are way more off the wall (I haven't seen much of Scrubs so this is only based on what I have seen so far). The 1st season is on Hulu. You can see season 2 on Veoh.com.
Just finished the Neverwhere series. It's based on Neil Gaiman's book from what I understand. Its only 6 episodes, seems fairly low budget, and the acting isn't all that great, but it's an interesting story. Might have to pick up the book. I've read 2 other Neil Gaiman books and enjoyed them. I didn't realize it first but Tamsin Greig is in this show and Green Wing. I watched it through Netflix.
Just started Black Books, only 2 episodes in. It's about a guy who owns a book shop and he's a bit anti-social from what I can gather. The main character is played a comedian from Ireland, if I'm not mistaken. Tamsin Greig is also in this show as well. Seems pretty funny enough so far. This series is also on Veoh.com
