I never said it should. But to say that you've never had any problems with any MS products, is a lie. Every single person who has used Windows, has had a problem of one kind or another. Small as they may be, they're have been problems. Hardware is a different issue.

To me, its silly to alienate a certain company because of a single issue. Its the same thing with Ford/Chevy people. Some people swear by one or the other, based on a single problem that happened years ago. Or something they've heard. Its just silly to me. If you bought a PS3, the likely hood of it having a hardware malfunction before your 360 is very small. The 360 is a much more fallible system, overall. You also miss out on a lot of great games. As anyone would by alienating themselves from any of the big three systems. But hey, feel free to do whatever, Ill be playing all the good games.

When a huge portion of them simply die for no reason, its a problem. The simple fact is, MS has more hardware problems than anyone else right now. Ignoring this fact, doesnt change it.

Well it's not going to make me get rid of a 360 that's been working fine and dandy since I got it.

I'm not gonna get rid of my PS3 because of your past experiences with Sony products. I don't think anyone on this forum is going to ditch their PS3, when it appears none of us have had any kind of problem, or there have been very few that were fixed promptly by Sony.

That fact that everyone I know that has a 360 no longer owns the original one they bought due to hardware problems, is a little unsettling.

Why are you putting words in my mouth? Don't imply that I'm saying you should get rid of all of your Sony products. I've already said I don't give two craps how people spend their money but the ONLY thing I've said is that I'm not going to waste any more money on Sony.

Some of you jackasses really need to stop assuming things.

The problems I have with Windows usually aren't a result of Windows but as result of something outside of Microsoft's control. A fresh install of Windows XP with the current updates will not crash on its own. A crash is usually triggered by a hardware or software issue, not an OS issue. In any case, my copy of Windows has never broken, while my PS2's have.

I paid for my copy of Windows XP a month after launch and I'm still using the same copy. Coincidentally, the PS2 I bought in roughly the same time is probably somewhere in a landfill.

What is your goal in trying to tell me what products I should have faith in? If it hasn't been made clear, I'll say it for the, what... 5th time now? I rely on my own experience before I rely on what people tell me.

I do too, as that is what makes sense to me. Sure, others have complaints against Sony's product quality, but I, who has never had a problem, continue to buy Sony's products. On the other hand, it makes perfect sense for those who have had problems to not continue buying products from the same manufacturer.

And yes, most Windows crashes/troubles are due to human error after the fresh install.
