I don't know what his issue is to be honest. I do know that losing Bradshaw for the reason is really hurting our running game.

It's the same issue as Mark Ingram. He just runs into contact and tries to over power it when he can't. Like Ingram they can both show flashes of greatness but continue to disappoint.

Patriots lost to the Jets.... Kansas City only team left undefeated...Many injuries...

Just another day in the NFL.

And I said at the time the Jets would at some point regret losing in new england what was an easily winnable game the way the patriots played that night. Jets would be leading the division now much less what other effects that loss gives down the road.

And yet again another sub par performance by Trent Richardson. Eventually Colts fans are going to run out of excuses and just have to admit that he is not good.

One of the rumors about why Cleveland traded him was that he just didn't work hard in practice and obviously it carries over to game day.

It seems like he is either picking the wrong hole, or not able to make a play when there isn't one. At least, it isn't from a lack of trying. He is always fighting for yards; sadly, it is always around the line of scrimmage.

I do know he better get his act together or by the time he develops into a good running back, it will be too late for him to be running the ball for anyone.

My wife watching Richardson play last night..."Is that guy *trying* to run into that pile of players?" He seems to lack vision and the ability to cut back and find the opening in the line.

He's not a cutback runner. He's a power runner. I will say he doesn't seem to pick his running lanes very well, but his runs rely on a blocking scheme to open up a hole in front of where he's supposed to be going, not for him to find a hole to go through.

But every running back needs to be able to do something other than run into the back of his offensive line when a hole doesn't develop. When Richardson makes it past the line of scrimmage, he runs great. The problem is at least half his runs don't develop into that type of opportunity.

Anyone that drafted the muscle hamster may want to head to your nearest ledge, reports of a several weeks injury absence in development.

It actually works out for the better for me. He's been a massive failure and routinely outscored by Mathews and Fred Jackson every week, yet I still start him in hopes of a 20-40 point outburst like he had last year. Now it just makes it easier to bench him and move on.

I read that story, but it was actually a good move. The Bucs have several players recovering from Staph infections and Atlanta wanted to be sure the locker room didn't have any of the bacteria left behind for other teams to catch and spread it.

I totally agree. He had the benefit of a dominating offensive line at Alabama. Not so much in the NFL so far. Being a pure 0-cut downhill runner will only get you so far, unless you're 260lbs and called a "fullback".

What's interesting is that while Ingram and Richardson seem to be cut from the same mold Eddie Lacy is showing to be a bit more versatile.

Who said it's a bad move, still doesn't mean it isn't funny they had to do it. And their players continuing to develop it is going to kill them in the legal action against them.

If only we could do the same at the NFL commissioner's office... :whiste:
