Merriweather deserves whatever suspension he gets. I am not sure why the Rams would even consider Tebow. He hasn't really played since Denver traded him and he's been sitting on the couch, or pew, the past couple months. He can't be in terribly good shape.

Sure, he'll GET a suspension. But just like Dashon Goldson, I can just about guarantee it will be overturned on appeal.

Either make rules and enforce them, or let the kids play.

What's interesting is that while Ingram and Richardson seem to be cut from the same mold Eddie Lacy is showing to be a bit more versatile.

Hmm, I disagree with these comparisons. There's a reason Richardson was said to be more talented than Heisman Trophy winner Ingram. He's shown a lot more open field speed at the college level IIRC. Nobody will ever say that about Ingram or Lacy, who are power backs. Richardson ran a quite respectable 4.48 in the 40 yard dash pre-draft. (By comparison, Ingram ran 4.62; Lacy 4.64).

I can't speak to his vision or lack thereof, but Richardson appears to have the physical tools to be a successful NFL running back. Which does explain why the Browns selected him 3rd overall.

Merriweather was trouble when he was with the Pats. Despite his talent they released him because he refused to do what the coaches told him too. He was a loose cannon and considered a bad influence on others.
