Definitely down memory lane.
Bolle Sunglasses from Ashford.com for $25 ($75 off $100),
Many Value America deals at ½ off with free shipping - get DVD deals & a ping-pong table ,
Free 3M mouse pads from buycomp.com,
All the crimping tools and plugs needed to wire my entire house from Questlink ($13 after $200 off $200),
A couple of MS optical mice for $25 total back in May 2002,
Too many to remember from Accompany/Mobshop/Mercada (how about a $10 Talkabout... ),
2400VA UPS from compgeeks for $160 shipped & it exceeded UPS' weight limits ,
Three 56K external modems for $42 total from officemax,
Way too many Staples, OfficeDepot, OfficeMax deals including ones that they paid me a few bucks to take the stuff, and
More than enough CDRWs to last a lifetime including one of the Smart&Friendly variety (btw, S&F went out of business & the CDRW died - however I still use the included software )
And these were all the valid, real deals that could be had within the company's rules - some new players don't understand why members jump on "obvious mistakes". Heck, some of the "obvious mistakes" aren't half as good as the real deals.
Of course, my 20pks of Hard Drives from OnSale never did arrive (I think Underclocked got them all)
Earlier said thanks to the Anandtech guys. Thanks to all the members here who, not only find the deals, but share the tremendous knowledge and research done on the products we buy. Sigh. Certainly has been one hellua ride.
