You know, I noticed that there are certain patterns of letters that my fingers can type extremely quickly, while there are some that I trip over. Also, it's difficult to quickly type unfamiliar words.

This test is too artificial to be useful IMO. Rarely are you typing word by word. If you're copying, it's sentence by sentence. If you're typing off the top of your head, thought by thought. Almost always, though, you can "read ahead".

1.6 million my third time. Interestingly, the first two times I took it were using my model m keyboard to type, the third time was using my dad's crappy laptop keyboard to take the test... I did my best the third time. hah.
