At least the holiday special has some ironic value. AOC is just painful to watch. I'd rather watch an entire movie staring Jar jar than watch that steaming turd. ^_^

I was fast forwarding to watch the commercials from 1978. They bring back memories of 1978.

With the alliance with the Great Evil of Disney, you'd think he'd have the resources at his disposal to not only eliminate every copy of it, but to effectively brainwash it out of existence.

Then a year after that, once the terrible mistake had been forgotten, someone at Disney HQ greenlights a Star Wars holiday special.
With Jar Jar Binks and Jake Lloyd, and a choir of singing Gungans.

So I guess the movie could get even worse.

You clearly haven't watched the Star Wars Holiday Special. AOC is a breath of fresh air compared to the Holiday Special. I defy you to sit through the first 10 minutes and call me a liar. It cannot be done.

Actually, that's an urban legend and not apparently true.

That being said, that quote is printed on my DVD copy of the show.

Let us not forget though, the Holiday Special brought us Boba Fett!
