I am going to score it as a win for Trump because he did better than the 1st debate, and a win for Hillary because Trump will stay in the race.

Trump did do better here than he did on his first debate. That said, I still don't think this second debate is going to change people's minds on those who are in either the Trump or Hillary camp.

A few of my neighbors, one who is Latino and the other who's a Muslim from Pakistan, will still support Hillary either way due to their fear of Trump.

Hillary "won" simply because she was actually answering questions.
Trump gets annoying constantly side-tracking and almost never actually answering a question, not unless reminded of what the actual question is.

Voter: There are 3.3 Muslims in the United States and I'm one of them. You've mentioned working with Muslim nations, but with islamophobia on the rise, how will you help people like me deal with the consequences of being a threat to the country after the election is over.

MR: Mr. Trump.

DT: You're right about Islamophobia and that's a shame. One thing we have to do is we have to make sure that because there is a problem, whether we like it or not — and we could be very politically correct, but whether we like it or not, there is a problem and we have to be sure that muslims come in and report when they see something going on. When they see hatred going on, they have to report it.

In San Bernardino, many people saw the bombs all over the apartment of the two people that killed 14 and wounded many, many people. Horribly wounded. Never be the same. Muslims have to report the problems when they see them. And you know, there's always a reason for everything. If they don't do that, it's a very difficult situation for our country because you look at Orlando. And you look at San Bernardino and the World Trade Center. Look at Paris. The horrible, these are radical islamic terrorists. And she won't even mention the word and nor will President Obama.

He won't use the term, “radical Islamic terrorism.” Now, to solve the problem, you have to be able to state what the problem is or at least say the name. She won't say the name and President Obama won't say the name. But the name is there. It's “radical Islamic terror” and before you solve it, you have to say the name.

This is such rambling nonsense.

I'm a little surprised by the wide margin the CNN post debate poll showed Clinton winning by. Over 20 points. I have to think that was more a F Trump survey result. I don't think there was any clear winner.

On and before we get flooded with the online debate polls, the conservative sites are again flooding the polls.

Boy was the Republican primary easier for our man Trump.

Cue Shakespeare.

Farewell the neighing steed, and the shrill trump,

The spirit-stirring drum, th’ ear-piercing fife;

The royal banner, and all quality,

Pride, pomp, and circumstance of glorious war!

To me, the scary part was Trump saying he'd instruct the Attorney General to jail his political opponent. He must have learned that trick from Putin.

It's a really popular idea.. among the people who were already going to vote for Trump no matter what anyway.

As for everyone else, not so much.

After tonight, my #1 concern is that we have old nuclear and Russia has new nuclear and this is a very bad thing, a shameful thing. This shouldn't be a thing. We need new nuclear.

Thanks, The D!

NM, I'd look dense trying to be half serious about that

Trump doesn't know anything about anything. The only thing he said tonight that was coherent and not a lie was "I don't know anything about Russia."

Eh, I thought Trump did a little better than in the first debate, but only a little. He had a few good moments, like when Clinton gave that "Abe Lincoln" answer, her worst of the night, his rejoinder to that was effective. And a few other moments. Other than that, I thought she seemed presidential while he frothed at the mouth. Most importantly, his responses regarding the video, which is the thing on everyone's mind right now, were atrocious.

That's his biggest problem. The "grab them by the pussy" thing is still there. He didn't really apologize for it, nor did he manage to successfully pin anything on Clinton that would be as disqualifying. She basically brushed the whole Bill Clinton thing off and he didn't really follow up. So basically she can continue to bombard him on it, and she has ample money to do so with ads, she doesn't need to do it in the debate.

Which brings to my mind that maybe Hillary was actually instructed to back off on Trump so that he would stay in the race just as you mentioned?

He forgot to grab her p**** first, apparently...

that's funny and all...but it looks like Trump was trying to shake some other dude's hand and not going for a smooch on his daughter.. Strange, I know, but there it is.

Does look he was just going for the hand shake and she did a head flip towards whoever it was.

Things get taken out of context all over, but it will get blown up.

Not that I have much Trump sympathy.

I'm watching the debate right now.

My favorite line so far is;

Trump: "words are things people say"

It does boil down to Trump knowing nothing about actual policy because....
I guess a lot of people want an idiot in there running the country.
I don't get this mindset that less somehow equals more.

When someone like trump is actually elected, with no experience what so ever, then someone must run the country on a day to day basis. Someone, obviously other than president Trump, must make the decisions and steer the ship.

The unknown factor when electing someone with no experience as Donald Trump is wondering who will be making all the decisions?
Who is it that will decide?
It's not like electing someone with totally no experience sets the country on auto-pilot.
When it comes to governing, there is no auto-pilot.
So who will it be?
Who pushes the buttons and flips the switches in running the country if president Trump has no interest in doing so? And has no experience at doing so?
Who is that man behind the curtain?
And what will this unknown mean to your future?

Only in politics would the people hand over such a complicated task to a complete incompetent. This never happens when you need a surgeon, or need a mechanic, or need a lawyer or a teacher or a painter.
Only do we chose the total ignoramus when it comes to our politics.
And as we found out with GW Bush, on the job training and learning by trial and error can have devastating long tern consequences.
We find ourselves some eight years later, and we are still digging out from under the last years of the Bush administration.
And the asshole republicans dare blame Obama for not digging us out fast enough.
Plus, the same assholes want yet another chance to repeat those GW Bush years.
I say... F@@K THAT SHIT.

When trump says, "I'll be honest", you know he's about to lie.

I'm thoroughly enjoying trump have a mini melt down complaining about the moderation.

WHAT?
WHAT YOU SAY?

You do realize how low the bar was lowered for anyone to think that?
To think Trump "did better" ????
Really? Seriously?

Oh sure, Trump didn't grab Hillary's boobs and didn't poop his pants on stage.
Neither did Charles Manson when he was on trial for murder.

"Did better". Seriously?

WTF have we come to....?

Trump was, again, a complete idiot.
A total moron that has not a clue about anything.
Especially anything government or policy related.
Please do not insult out intelligence.
