Repub math?

They don't use math, just oxymorons. Cut taxes to balance the budget!

Honestly, that's not entirely fair. Republicans always promise to cut taxes and reduce spending. So it should work out. Problem is, they never follow through with the second part and only ever double and triple actual spending beyond what any comparable Democratic administration and legislature of their era ever achieve. It's quite astonishing, really--and such levels of astonishment are only bested by the fact that republican voters still, to this day, continue to believe that their representatives only ever do the complete opposite. All of this despite the decades of unambiguous data for them to consider.

Why is everyone all worked up about this? Trust me, she is not going to win, despite what the radical left wing rants about.

Trump will take the White House and most Americans will cheer!*

*There may be a few riots in a certain large cities with potential deportees up in arms.
No. Trump will lose. Bigly.

I peered into the future and saw Trump's epitaph engraved over the entrance of his 75 story mausoleum (with revolving doors). It read:

"My death was rigged I tell ya. It. Was. Rigged."

Kind of late but I also commend Chris Wallace who was able to get answers on substantive policy positions from the candidates. He was by far the best moderator of the season. Also congrats to Mrs. Clinton who, in all 3 of the debates, managed to do what the "historic deep bench" of 16 other GOP primary candidates could not do. It is quite a feat considering how impotent they were facing Trump.

I have seen more than one Clinton supporter say the same thing I have. These two were not the first choice of many, we are pretty much picking between two people with lots of baggage and issues. I think we can all admit that.

Trump bombed badly at the Catholic charity roast (Alfred Neuman) last night. Clinton actually seemed hospitable and charitable by comparison.

I'll take it you mean the Alfred Smith Dinner, Alfred Neuman has not been really been relevant to most people in decades.

Tearing down the evil Hildabeast, huh? It won't work, simply because Trump is lower than whale shit. The only thing it accomplishes is to tear down the legitimacy of the Govt of the People, something the right wing has been doing for decades. They seek to create a power vacuum to be filled by corporate interests while failing to see that it's being filled by the hateful rhetoric of the alt-right.

Repubs need to clean up their own side of the street or be eaten by the bears that come to feed on the garbage they put out.

I'll toss this in here because Trump thought the Al Smith charity dinner was the fourth debate...lol! Catholics are not amused:

In the past two election cycles, the Al Smith dinner provided an evening at which both parties' candidates could set aside the hard edges of a contentious campaign, say some kind words about their opponent, and remind people that what divides us as partisans is not greater than what unites us as Americans and as human beings. Humor is an almost uniquely valuable salve to achieve that purpose. Its absence last night ruined an otherwise successful dinner. No, that's not right. Donald Trump ruined the dinner. It was his nastiness that got people booing. Let's hope that on election day, the whole country boos him into a retirement from public life.

That's the end of a scathing article. I have read comments from RCs elsewhere that Trump's debacle has basically made himself and his wife persona non grata in New York high society. I think reality is waiting to tap on Trump's shoulder on November 9th.

Loss of status would be infuriating to him...

I never thought I would see the following being reported in National Catholic Register!
These questions put me in mind of a classic New Yorker cartoon that pictured a chicken and an egg in bed, both smoking a post-coital cigarette, with the caption, "Should we tell them?"

He promised yesterday that after the election, he's suing all the women that have accused him of assault, and since filing a lawsuit for Donald is about as common as brushing his teeth, he's certainly going to follow through.

Good luck, Donald. Imagine the law firms willing to jump in for these ladies and help to bleed this vile turnip dry.

Tom Hanks even

surprised Youtube is hosting SNL now...

anyhoo, I think this, all things equal, was the best of the 3 debate sketches. 1st was its own thing--new and holy shit is Alec Baldwin amazing!--2nd was, eh, same schtick again.

But I felt that the best sketch last night was Black Jeopardy. It's one of those rare sketches that makes you go, hmmm? and laugh, because it's true
