Yea I live in Illinois, which hillary will win, probably by 80% or more, but I'm voting for the local level folks and to put my vote in against drumpf, because fsck drumpf, and his supporters.

If he loses, it will be a blessing and a curse. If he loses, he is going to still be a cancer on American politics. Trump TV is going to happen and his zealots are going to be as unbearable as if he actually won.
Of course, that's partly because Trump's devotees will cling to his insinuation that he could only lose if the election is rigged. Clinton could deliver an Obama-style thumping with full independent verification and they'd still be crying foul through 2020.

Having only lived in rock solid blue areas for basically my whole eligible voting life I'll confess to never having voted, mainly because my preferred candidate was going to win anyway. This time around I would feel complicit were he to win the election and I didn't turn out to at least cast my lot against him even though Hillary will carry the state easily. I never really thought I would see somebody so totally reprehensible and potentially dangerous make it this far even though I know it's historically (not really ours) possible.
Also the race between our incumbent R senator and the D that's challenging him is sort of close and should the worst come to pass every extra D controlled seat in the Senate is going to be needed.
