It's great knowing you can get emergency care for your kids if they sleepwalk down the stairs, but otoh you might die waiting on an MRI (I waited 13 months once for an MRI on bulged discs/stenosis).Is single payer really the answer (I don't know, that's why I'm asking)? Countries like Germany seem to be doing fine and they don't have single payer AFAIK.
