I dunno, at least at the moment I thought it was very positive. My mom is supporting Trump (or at least was; haven't spoken to her since Pussy-gate), and while trying to convince her own mom to support Trump, she used his kids as a reason which apparently seemed compelling at the time. To a wish-washy independent type that wants a leader they can relate to or understand on personal terms, raising successful/healthy/etc children is a great metric of a person's quality. (My grandmother ultimately refused to support Trump on the grounds that he's a misogynist, but still.)

My mom is supporting Trump (or at least was; haven't spoken to her since Pussy-gate), and while trying to convince her own mom to support Trump, she used his kids as a reason which apparently seemed compelling at the time. Oh I agree, but just the fact that he is always close to his kids (or at least his first batch; you never see Tiffany and probably some others) probably gives a positive vibe to wish-washy voters regardless. Realistically almost any rich and powerful person has a lot of help in raising their kids.

My wife hates Trump with a passion and is on FB a lot.

The only reason she's not already in prison for many years is rich privilege.
