And just where do you live that you have seen blacks wearing the confederate flag? I'm curious. I grew up as one of the only whites in the projects around Pittsburgh and I can tell you that I have NEVER seen a black that thought that it was a good idea to where it.

I am now living in Mississippi and I can tell you with even more certainty that the blacks here would rather be dead than where that bastian of KKK pride.

I think that you are full of sh*t and saying this to try to seem like this symbol of racism (not what it was, but what it has become) is acceptable.

It's more of a sign of rebellion and sticking up for what you believe in. I have seen a few black kids where the confederate flag (I'm in VA), but they were "punk kids," who liked to go to shows and rebell against just about everything - including men's pants.

Thank you. This person is obviously ignorant and doesn't understand the whole situation. Just because you have not seen it, it doesn't make it not true. Yes, blacks and all other types of people wear the flag worldwide.

Let me verify your statement so that I am sure that I understand what you are saying. You are claiming that I am "obviously ignorant and don't understand the whole situation" because I have never seen a black that has worn the flag? That, because of my upbringing in very close proximity of blacks and having more black friends as a child than whites, that I don't understand the mentality of blacks? That, because I am living in a state that still harbours many racist views (both white towards blacks and blacks towards whites) that I am "ignorant" to the symbolism that is associated with the confederate flag?

May I ask what makes you an expert to the mindset of the blacks that I have known and associated with? What makes you an expert on the mindset of the KKK members that have approached my wife while living here letting her know that "the family" will take care of her if she has "any problems"?

You speak in very broad generalazations in most of your posts with a very sweeping implication that what you know to be fact is and should be to everyone else as well. Just as you claim that I am "obviously ignorant" because you say I don't know the "whole story".....equally applies to you for being either unintentionally or intentionally hypocrytical. You obviously, don't know the whole story either and are making the case that your opinion is to be considered fact for everyone else. Very obviously an ignorant thing to do.
