Sorry saw this thread a few days late.

Just want to say a heartfelt thanks to all who have served and still serve the american public.

Fritzo: you scare the heck out of me. Watch the news every once in a while.

Wake up! UAVs and UCAVs are the future of the military you are paying for.

Not to mention that the remote control execution of suspects (using one of these 99% no idea predator drones) is one of the biggest ethical and political issues the US is/should be rassling with right now.

bsd: get a clue. You think the men and woman of our armed forces are mindless predator drones?

The fact that even when they know a war is pointless, even when they know the leadership is bad, they still serve, as they swore they would, only serves to ennoble (sp?) "the sacrifices".

Everyone: if you have political issues, get off your but and vote. I know SO many people that whine and whine but cant take a few minutes to let their voice be heard in a way that counts.

A big thanks to all the Vets and those now serving, especially my Scoutmaster who served in Korea and Pastfinderfrank's Dad who served in Vietnam.

Although I don't have any family who were/are in the service, I thank the fine people of the American Legion for making Boys' State and Nation the best damn summer gigs ever.
