Beer ... I can name at least 50 American micro beers that are fuggin amazing. American's brew pretty much every style of beer magnificently. Ommegang, Allagash, New Glarus, Rogue, Goose Island, Capital, Dogfish Head, Three Floyds, Avery, Great Lakes, Alesmith, Stone, Left Hand, New Belgium, and many many other brewers out there craft many varieties of superb world class beer. The USA may not have the absolute best of the best of the best of some styles, but there are EXCELLENT American beers in every category, and many cases, American brewers are brewing the best of the best, or American brewers are the creators and only ones brewing that style of beer. Hell, even the macrobrew, Sam Adams, has some really good beers. I love beer. I love American beers.

Where else in the world do you find a place that embraces OTHER cultures like the US?

You want Mexican food? I can find places easily that range from Taco Bell to small family owned restraunts that are actually run by people from Mexico. Doesn't get more authentic than that. Same for Chinese, Italian, Sushi...

You want a car a certain way? There's a good chance you can get it. We have everything from the Smart Fortwo to trucks that are barely even pickups they're so large.

You don't like my religion? Practice your own! You don't have a religion but want one? Still okay!

Weather. You don't like the weather? Go somewhere else in the US, you'll be able to find a place that suits you. We have everything from arid deserts to swamps to jagged mountain peaks. Tropical islands, glaciers, you name it, there's a place that has it.

We've got some great things:

We lead the world in Computing Technology and advancements. Microsoft, Apple, Intel, AMD and Google all hail from the West Coast, and they decide where computers are headed.

We're allowed to vote, speak our minds and disagree with the government...mostly. Sure, we're far from perfect, but we're one-up on a lot of places.

We have some of the smartest intellectuals in the world, ranging from Linguistic Psychology (Chomsky, Pinker) to Literature (Hawthorne, Salinger) and even to Holocaust studies (Dobkowski). There's thousands more of vastly bright American Intellectuals.

We've got some great athletics - a fantastic Olympic Ski Program, awesome Lacrosse in many places, and we started the sport of Paintball, which seems to have spread worldwide.

While we do have racism, there's a real openness to our country - I literally spent my night at Barnes and Noble last night sitting next to a Muslim and across from a cute Christian girl. We're becoming more and more open to people of all races, religions and sexualities, and while we're not leading in Civil Liberties and Rights, we're not nearly as bad as many others.

I think most Walmart's close at like 10pm or 11pm ... Though I have seen a couple of 24 hour ones before ....

That said ... I wonder if the lines still fvcking take an hour to get through at 2am .....

Some walmarts are really really horrible places, but I've been to several that are actually really nice stores .... just depends on the region/management I guess ....

I refuse to go to 3 walmarts that are near where I live or where I work, but there's 2 of them out of town that I've been in that were much nicer stores (they were in much smaller towns though)
