I did have a black 89 mustang notchback 5.0l 5speed before that and a 67 galaxie 500 with a 390 big block before the mustang. Loved them both but wanted to get the 2 seater convertible thing over with before I have responsibilities.

I have a 99 Mustang GT. It actually does pretty well around the corners after I installed an Eibach Pro Plus kit with springs, shocks/struts, sway bars. I also have 18x9 and 18x10 wheels on it. Sticks in the corners pretty well. It does get a little squirrley if there are mid corner potholes though.

Right now I have the body pulled off my 79 firebird awaiting stroked 400, tubular a-arms and a vette IRS in the back. Not to mention the other ton of shit thats goin to get changed on it.

I hate the misconception that a car can only have 100 HP if it is to corner properly. You can have good handling AND power both ya know... or did it not occur that you can build up the suspension of a car with a big engine, or build up the engine of a car with good suspension?

With that logic the "twisties" crowd would have you believe if you add 500 HP to a Miata it will suddenly corner like a Buick; learn to respect the throttle n00bs.

Totally stock... yeah I miss the Kenne Bell 2.4 I had in the DSG 'vert but now I have a 'real' muscle car with a proper 2 door hard top configuration.

Currently saving the cash to start messing with things again, definately going with a 325 stroker with worked over heads, but I still can't decide between a KB 2.8/Whipple 3.3 blower or a THP twin turbo system this time around.

Current plan is to sell it next summer & upgrade to a Corvette. I've only had it for 4 months & it's already too slow.

A Cobra with a Kenne Bell supercharger is one of the coolest sounding engines around IMO. Damn fast too.

my car has noticeably more than 100 hp, thx. it also has huge brakes, independant rear suspension, lsd, traction control, dowshift rev matching, safety up the wazoo and an interior better than any cadillac.

would i get smoked on a 1/4 mile strip? i certainly should. but on a road course, i wonder how many times i could lap a mustang before the stang goes ass-first into a wall or ditch.
