Totally stock... yeah I miss the Kenne Bell 2.4 I had in the DSG 'vert but now I have a 'real' muscle car with a proper 2 door hard top configuration.

Currently saving the cash to start messing with things again, definately going with a 325 stroker with worked over heads, but I still can't decide between a KB 2.8/Whipple 3.3 blower or a THP twin turbo system this time around.

and not race it still?

Your car would be the best qualification for muscle car here, although it's really a pony car.

When I finish it, I think my '67 Mustang coupe with 351W would probably qualify me. Other than that I just have a puny 6.8L V10...

US-131 Dragway when I lived in Michigan. Edgewater Sports Park now that I live in Cinci.

Nice, I used to go t US-131 alot about 5 yrs ago.

I also like going to South Haven and playing on Gingerman Raceway, bike and car included.

I'll hit Firebird once I get intake, exhaust, pulley, tune, and some wider wheels on again. But you are right to an extent. It's a street car and I have no aspirations to be a full time racer throwing money away on broken parts by tracking my daily driver every day; just a few runs every now and then any time I do something to see where it is.

Nah, that goes to 440sixpack without question (the post above yours) with the '70 Challenger. I believe that is actually the only true blooded pure muscle car posted here so far.

didn't see that 440...still I never get guys that pour money into a car on performance mods that don't use them...things shouldn't break unless you are on slicks really or try to dump your clutch at 6k.

I've never gone to E2o, I usually run at Kil-Kare or Tri-State.

Another debated subject!

Many say it was the Pontiac Lemans (GTO), others argue it started with the AMC Rebel, others assert it was Ford with the Fairlane and many contend it was Dodge with the Dart or Chrysler with the 300. Some will even argue it started way back in the late 40's with the Oldsmobile Rocket '88.

ideally I want a Superbird but since I never buy lottery tickets, that probably won't ever happen. I like the older cars, they are just too hard to find in decent shape and the ones in ok shape are fetching insane prices around my area. One day i'll get my hands on one but until then I'll keep my modern pony and be happy. Espcially when the older guys talk smack then eat my dust from the stoplight.

Don't be sure, many want me ousted! My car is a pony car and not a muscle car by true definition.
