Here is mine. I can't describe how much I love my little gym. Its perfect for me. I'd like to add some dumb bells and maybe a decline AB bench, but that's about it. I already work every part of the body very well with just two simple bars. The heart of the gym is the power rack because without it, I couldn't do things comfortably alone like squat and bench press.
For flooring I use 3/4" thick horse stall mats and they are amazing and low cost. I just mounted a stereo to the wall and now I got some decent music going on.
The rest of the gym is pretty simple and speaks for itself. Share yours here.

It's simple, but it's good. You can hit a lot of the major compound exercises with what you have. Add some dumbbells and something to really hit the calves, and you're golden.

I'm jelly.

I want to try barbell push crunches and see how they feel. They are commonly done using a decline ab bench and a barbell. I can do them in the power cage and really load up the weight. I think they would be a great addition to the landmine twists and AB wheel workouts I already do.

Nice high quality looking bench!

Thanks. Its very sturdy and heavy duty. Has a good feel to it with thick padding. It does wobble though. In order to get a heavy bench that doesn't wobble, I think you need to spend like $800.00 or more. Also, it probably won't come from China.

Not a garage, but does basement count?

Nothing too special but happy with it. I bought this weight bench and bar/weights last summer, I had sorta started working out but then I got sick and just never got back into it till now. When buying I figured I'd go with olympic style instead of the flimsy stuff from local stores. So it cost over a grand by the time I got everything shipped. The bench I got at Canadian Tire though. It was one of their "higher end" ones.

I have an exercise bike too, though I don't really use it much. I guess I probably should.

Looks good Red. I remember your thread where you were asking about gym equipment. That was right around the time I decided to get my stuff. I basically got everything through Amazon. That place is amazing as hell. I think one of the most expensive things was the shipping costs for the stupid weights. Good lord that was absurd.

Lol yeah that shipping cost hurt. I think it was like $200. But guess it makes sense... was over 300lbs lol.

Rogue monster lite sml1 rack and bench with thompson fat pad. West side power bar. Gonna put two mirrors up for squat assistance tomorrow and wheels so I can pull it out and military press. Rubber pads are only used for deadlifting. Just got it all last week, hope it holds 500+ pounds fine but I'll find out this weekend.

Now that's a beautiful setup. Congrats on the sick gear. That shit is nice. Also, 500lbs? Haha come on man. That Rogue stuff will hold a damn Sherman tank.
Out of curiosity, what are you doing with 500lbs? Rack pulls? Squats? Curls?

Going for a 545+ squat on Saturday if I feel comfortable in the rack. Was kinda kidding about the weight, its rated for 1,000 lbs. Being so tall and without much horizontal support there was a tiny bit of sway when loading 450 last week. Nothing scary but its not my ideal rack.

Have a bluetooth speaker on the way too, no electrical outlets in my garage. Using a coleman lantern for light and extension cord + heater when it was 6 degrees last week.

I'll have to get a pic later, but my local gym closed down a few years ago and I was able to purchase a high end Ivanko olympic bar and 400lbs of weight for $280 . I paired it with a Rogue power rack with T-bar row and dips add-on gear. I have a bench that does decline and incline and a fixed bench for the ladies to sit and watch haha.

I love it. I end up working out more often and longer now that the set up is at my house and I can cut off 30-45mins of driving/chatting/getting ready for a local gym. Definitely worth the investment. I'm looking at adding a preacher curl, pull down machine, and a rack of dumbbells in the future. Then I think I'll be perfectly set.

I see your concern about the lack of horizontal supports. It just doesn't feel right loading that much weight I guess lol. Its a solid unit though. Looks like you are all set. What speaker did you get? I spent a week researching those stupid things for my gym haha.
Also, that temperature. Wow that's cold.

You lucky mother. That's a ridiculous deal on that bar and all that weight. So awesome.
I hear you on the convenience aspect. God its wonderful to just walk out the garage door and be at the gym. No having to ask people "can I work in?" or "How many sets you have left?". I hated having to wait and the constant anxiety of knowing I was using something that someone else wanted to use. Also having to make compromises with my workout because the bench was taken or the squat rack was in use, so I had to make due with some crappy machine otherwise I would wait.
Then the drive to and from and blah blah. No comparison. I'd like to see some pics when you get a chance.
Oh crap, I almost forgot. You mentioned a T bar row. That sound like a land mind attachment. I got one and absolutely love that damn thing. Its a wonder attachment. With it I do:

Alternating 1 armed shoulder press (kneeling position)
Alternating 1 armed bent over rows
landmine twists

Its so convenient and efficient to use its unbelievable. I love that thing.
I want to explain the bent over rows. This is using just the bar and not the "T" attachment. There are two ways to do them. The bar between your legs allows you to support yourself with one elbow on a leg as you grab the bar with the other hand and pull. This isolates the movement. You can do one arm and simply roll the bar over to the other hand and do the other side.
The other way to do it is by placing the bar on the outside of your legs. This way your core is forced to keep you upright which hits your core as a secondary benefit, and also the one leg near the bar is forced to support all of the weight, and this places a load on that leg as you are in what is basically a squatted position. That hits the leg pretty nice and is a good secondary benefit also when doing it that way. Its just a really versatile piece of equipment.

Yeah you went big with the good equipment. Its good that you got that stuff though with your strength levels. You didn't have much choice I don't think. Can't lift 500lbs on the cheap stuff. Regarding the speaker, those little things are pretty decent. My wife has one kind of like that and it was pretty surprising for the price. We have this one here.

Did you work out yesterday Red? You can do a lot with a barbell.

Yeah I did, on night shifts now so I'll resume after this set of shifts. I'm doing the 5x5 program so can do a lot with just what I have. From what I read it works most of the major muscle groups and is one of the simpler programs.

Does my basement count?

I will say this, my home gym was the best decision of my life. I have saved thousands over the last 5 years. I'll maybe take some pics if I ever remember.

1) Squat Cage - Can do pull-ups, squats, standing military press, bench press (decline, flat, incline bench)

2) Bumper Weights - Can do cleans, snatch and deadlifts and drop them if I desire. Have 300 in bumper weights alone and another 300 in cast iron. I'll never squat over 500 nor Deadlift 600 as those are not my goals so I have plenty of weights.

3) Treadmill with my TV and remote right in from of me

Total cost was maybe $1,500 startup as I was able to obtain most of my items used (best way to go, IMO). Treadmill was most expensive item @ 750. But well worth it.

I'll be looking to expand with an exercise bike for the winter. when it is summer, I almost always do my running outside, but in the winter, I mostly hibernate in the home gym. I hate Minnesota... At least in the winter :-/
