WTF @ Perknose's thread on there. Sorry Rossman to cloud up your thread, but what a piece of shit.
The deal is is Perknose for one is a long time member here that for the life of me has never started any shit with anyone. Two, he could easily do so since he is one of the people that hold the keys to the castle more or less. Three, he is doing this without much reward...but it keeps the place going for the benefit of all of us.
There are too many here that just jump on any issue. I'd be cool with that if they themselves weren't bottom feeders...but so often they are all just looking for drama.
I am sure Perk would have never endangered anyone. Personally I don't agree with the DUI laws and neither does the person that created MADD which made them the reality. It's a pure revenue machine and EXCELLENT for getting votes.
I know I have made Perk's life a bit hard due to those same asshats, but he has ALWAYS been impartial to me and anyone else he has moderated. I have disagreed with some of his posts as well, and we have debated over it so it's not like I am his favorite.
However the funny thing is those same idiots think I have the moderator's blessing.
The irony I see here is like Moonbeam's return, you have everyone praising it; but some of those were the same people that were flaming him prior. Too many people here just want to belong to whatever the cause of the day is mindlessly.
A lot of the cooler members from pre 1999-2003 have left. Most are either busy with life (which is cool, and I wish the best to people like yoyo), but a lot of the others have gotten fed up with this place or have been banned in the past year.
Which is kinda sad. The forums arent as active as when I joined in 05, even accounting for the new forums and categories.
Its cool to see RossMAN back.
Kinda weird that I'm feeling nostalgic for the old forums, but I guess it reminds me of other stuff going on in my life at the time.
