Let's talk Apple Stock buy now or after split?

I own 5 shares - literally for 7+yrs now.

Should I buy now at say 600.00/share (estimating here)

OR

Should I buy after the split when it goes down? 600/7 = 85.00

Here are my thoughts: Buy now because when the split happens on 6.9.14 everyone and their mom will join the bandwagon to buy it since it's a reduce rate. As a result simple supply and demand dictates that ppl will buy raising the price up.

Thoughts?

Often, after a split, the stock price goes up because now people think it is a great deal after the price drop. What they don't realize is that the EPS is less and the dividend gets split too. So buy now and hope that the confused people come in when the price drops.

It may happen often, but it doesn't happen everytime. Buyer beware.
