If you look at the shoes on, you wouldn't even notice the logos, they're barely a spec that's not even legible; the checkered is covered by the pants legs, unless you're wearing shorts... Seriously, go try them on with pants, and realize how they look on. Too lazy to put on pants.

The funny thing was, it started with a bunch of people crapping on others' shoes...

So LK, what kind of trading do you do again? You mentioned "trading floor", "EU bank", and a bunch of other things that I just kinda want to see what exactly it is that you do...

I am sure your skinny suit doesn't cover the checker board much. Your motley covers it even less. In fact, perhaps you should walk over to Bryant Park and let some of the old guys play chess on those things, I am sure they'd get a kick out of the silly kid wearing a chess board.

I used to work at one, I am on the buyside now. Much more reasonable manner of dress...lol.

I think Ferragamo shoes are nice, I have a few pairs. I also have Kenneth Cole's, Steve Madden's and retro Air Jordan's for casual wear. I don't spend too much on shoes (Louboutin, Lanvin, etc). I use the money I would've spent on shoes and buy watches instead (Audemars Piguet and Rolex), and clothes (a few custom tailored).

But that's just it, I'm keep telling you that when you say "generally happen" doesn't happen with my shoes. I'm a lazy guy, so I wear mostly Italian styled loafers. I usually donate them after a while when I'm bored with them and while someone else can still appreciate them, which is after 3-4 years, depends on how much I like the shoes. NONE of them have ever fallen apart, albeit I don't plow fields with them, but I do walk a bit. Probably because I rotate my shoes every day, so they don't wear out as fast.

Anyways, since this forum is full of fashion experts and shoes connoisseurs, what can you tell me about these lowly hipster euro-trash disposable footwear from LV spring collection? I think I might have been duped about their qualities...

And, you're wrong about my watch, my only watch...

They are not to my taste at all, nor is that watch. I would not be comfortable wearing those checkerboard shoes in public under any circumstances, even in the event of a fire. I would only be comfortable wearing those boots if I first removed the metal logo tab from the sole, which I guess would kind of be against the point of buying very expensive shoes with a garish logo tab on them (plus I would still be stuck with the embossed LV on the strap, which I also don't care for). Being LV, I would expect they are of very good quality, but their styling is really not my cup of tea in any form or fashion. In general I am not a fan of LV because I don't like being a billboard for the manufacturer of what I'm wearing and it seems needlessly ostentatious.

I don't mean to be rude about this - I am only answering because you asked. If you like these shoes and watch, that's great for you and I hope you enjoy them in good health. I have always been pretty conservative about style so am obviously just not into the same things as you. I like high-quality English and Italian shoes in traditional styles, and conservative mechanical watches like Omegas and Sinns.

I like the lace ups, but I am not a huge boot guy, so those aren't great IMO. I really like their Glass Dome Derby, but I am a bit more gaudy than most. I mean, I have a pair of red leather Louboutins I wear on a regular basis.

Those things are probably the least ostentatious things you can buy from them, and out here in SF, those are not something you'd wear if you want attention. You missed the obvious joke with the watch, which then leads me to ask you this - in which pocket of your tweed jacket do you keep the cialis?
