Nah Tyson was in physical shape, he was not competitive, merely for the fact hes faced what, people more past their prime than he for the past 5 years. He still had the power he just didnt have the in ring experiance. I mean come on look as who hes fought in the past 5 years and look at who Lennox has fought for the past 5 years. Lennox fought better fighters, keeping him in top fighting shape, Tyson couldnt get a decent fight, mainly because of the fued between him and Don King over how King screwed Tyson out of 50-75% of Tysons money.
Tyson lost, on second thought, he probably still would have lost. But I think everyone writes off Tyson as evil because his boxing persona. Its just that his persona, yes he was convicted of rape, he served his time, he may have been accused but accusations mean nothing when theres now proof of it. Hell OJ Simpson killed two people, and is still considered a hero by some.
Nah its better to go out on top, than rather hang around like Holyfield or all the other world champions that stick around after they were on top and became past their prime. Lennox wont fight again, I don't see it happening, even with a possible rematch between Tyson and Lennox in thier contract, I dont see it happening. I just dont see Lewis-Holyfield III happening or Lewis-Tyson II(would be a hell of alot better than tonights fight). Hes on top. The reason I said its a shame he will likely vacate his titles, is Lewis-Tyson could have been a spectaculer fight, Tyson just wasnt ready for it. After the 4th round, I was just waiting for Tyson to go down.
