What do you mean?
If hooking up a receiver with compatible 5.1 analog inputs the subwoofer will be on the same plug as the center.

what kind of system? if its a 5.1 system and you are using 3 3mil jacks, then each jack has 2 channels, such as left and right on it. if you have a system that is just using one 3 mil jack then you do not have a center channel. you just have a left and right out, the sub will take low frequency signals from both channels.

From Soundcard on a 5.1 set of speakers

1 - Front Left, Front Right
2 - Surround Left, Surround Right
3 - Center, Subwoofer

If you're using a set of computer speakers, the subwoofer will play the Subwoofer output from the 3rd jack as well as the frequencies below the speaker system's crossover point on all other signals.

For example, if the set crossover frequency is 150Hz, then the sub will play

The subwoofer signal
The Left front signal for frequencies below 150Hz
The Right front signal for frequencies below 150Hz
The Center signal for frequencies below 150Hz
The Left surround signal for frequencies below 150Hz
The Right surround signal for frequencies below 150Hz

If you have a 2.1 set of speakers connected

1 - Front Left, Front Right

The subwoofer will play the frequencies below the speaker system's crossover point

For example, if the set crossover frequency is 150Hz, then the sub will play

The Left front signal for frequencies below 150Hz
The Right front signal for frequencies below 150Hz

Note: the crossover frequency is not a brick wall, so there will be a gradual slope where the speakers stop playing the lower frequencies and the subwoofer takes over.

The reason I asked was because I want to hook up 2x(5.1)s to the Rear left and Rear right, Going to do this via Splitters, I just wanted to KNOW if the 2x(5.1)s would get a sub signal. THX

I'm kind of confused about what you're doing.

You're going to hook up two whole 5.1 sets to only a single stereo 3.5mm jack on your computer? (Surround Left / Surround Right)

Or are you hooking up two whole 5.1 sets to the three stereo 3.5mm jacks on your computer?

What's hooked up to the other outputs?
What are you hoping to gain from doing it this way?

A couple drawbacks I'm thinking of initially:
Volume control issues
Interference between the 5 speakers playing the same sounds

I think the systems will play the full range signals that would have been sent to those two speakers.
Depending on how you split it, in each system the 5 speakers should play the information on the signal that's above the crossover point and the sub will play what's below the crossover point.

I'm doing this cuz the living room is 3x length to 1x width. And the monitor is in the middle width wise, SOOO,, i need the back to cover more length because the couch is quite long as well.

how do you plan to amplify this setup?

you realize running two pairs of speakers on one jack is going to either double or split the resistance in half depending on whether you wire the speakers in series or parallel.

and if your amplifier cant handle the resistance, it WILL go pop.

and to your question, the LFE channel the ".1" will play everything below the crossover point setup in your software or receiver. DD/DTS movies also have there own discreet "LFE channel."

I still don't really understand what the whole picture is.

You're hooking up two 5.1 sets to just the surround output jacks from your soundcard so that you can compensate for added length of the room?

So that means you have two 5.1 sets just acting as single speakers to try to get more volume?

What's being hooked up as the Front Left, Front Right, Center, and Subwoofer? Real speakers? Other computer speakers?

I don't even know if there's a receiver or amp in the mix here.

All I've seen so far are computer speaker sets, so I don't think impedence loads are going to be an issue yet unless that's coming into play here but haven't been mentioned yet.
