These LG plasmas have a very good picture for the price without a doubt. Got one of their 42" 720p's and it looks better than most of my 1080p's.
I have a 5+ y.o. Panasonic 50" 720p plasma and it still looks absolutely great. Unless your a videophile or have a tiny tiny living room, I would have to call this a hot deal. This has been my experience with the 50" so far. Its picture looks better than my 1080p 37" Vizio. Color accuracy is very nice right out of the box too.
Not bad, if you don't mind 720p. Pixels are too large for me at that resolution though.
We watch letterbox movies, 4:3 TV programming, video games, and had a HTPC hooked up to mine over the years, I have no burn in. I've noticed some right when you turn the TV off, but it goes away. Mine has an anti-burn feature (pixel shifting IIRC), and surly today's sets provide even better measures. Will the letterbox from watching blurays cause burn-in on plasmas?
