LG Optimus G

This is a nice phone. Does it interest anyone else?
Very much prefer the rectangular look to the complex curves of the GS3. Square shape is easier on the eyes.

If it had microSD slot I would buy it.
Same with the One X.
Same with the One S.
Find myself looking at the Motorola Razr M over and over, even though I swore to never buy Moto again...

Another going for it, being virtually a brother to the nexus it should have awesome dev support. I'm really interested in the untapped potential of that soc being, well, tapped. However, I think I'll wait until the new HTC 5" shows up to make my final decision.

On paper this phone beats the Nexus 4 by far. And given they share the same hardware, development work should be easy. The unfortunate part about this phone is that the bootloader is locked. It does make more sense that the LED notification light is on the bottom. Not sure Google was doing with the N4.

Well apparently the AT&T version does support microSD.

Apart from the camera and storage they look pretty similar hardware wise to me.

I thought Optimus G was introduced first? Then it transformed to Nexus 4. I thought they are the same thing with slightly different look and different stock OS.

Edit: Wait. I am an idiot. The one on the left is Samsung Galaxy 3, right? Then is there any difference between Optimus G and Nexus 4 other than branding?

I have the LG Optimus 2X. It's still on Android 2.3 officially. LG for the past year refused to release enough information for 3rd party developers to create an ICS or JB build for the device. Only in the last few days has this been possible, and official nightly CyanogenMod builds of Android 4.1 are starting to come out finally. Still no official Android 4.x release from LG, though.

I thought this might be interesting to know for anyone who's considering an LG phone.

^ that's probably got something to do with using an Nvidia chip. We have same problem on the Atrix4g with Tegra2.
