LGA775 mATX Boards?

I need a mobo to go with the Q9550 I am ordering, I'd prefer mATX, as I find it easier to install them in my small tower.

I will not be using multi-socket GPUs, I need onboard 2-chan audio, lan, 1394 would be good too, there are tens of boards that meet those requirements, price is a bigger factor than overclocking features,

suggestions?

Try downloading the asus p5q-EM manual, and see how many voltage and memory adjustments it has.

the only g43 i see is Gigabyte GA-EG43M-S2H I have never run a gigabyte board, i assume there is nothing "surprising"?

At the moment the ASUS P5E-VM HDMI is the best in overclocking. Its considered by most mATX enthusiast as the top dog. DFI has their new CF mATX (DFI lanparty JR P45 T2RS ) out and its pretty good and might take top spot if it gets some BIOS updates. Highest stable overclock I've heard for it is around 510-520 fsb. I know of two users that got a post @ 600fsb but not stable. If you want something cheaper and yet still a good overclocker then the ASUS P5K-VM and the P5E-VM HDMI and the P5Q-VM. Of those three the P5K-VM is the better overclocker still I think. I would say take a look at those five mATX mobos and see if they have the features you want and then go from there. My guess is one of those five will meet your needs and price.

Edit: DFI also plans to launch a SLI version of their JR P45 T2RS but we havent heard when exactly this year its going to be. Some unfounded rumors are saying October but take that with a dose of salt.

Edit #2: Change that from 510-520fsb to 560fsb with a E8500. Forgot about that one. Different CPUs are getting different OC numbers with this mobo. Still a lot of unknowns with this mobo as more people are getting it and testing it.
