Hi everyone, does anyone know where to find a fair price online for a Lian Li PC-65?

I bought this Superflower black aluminum case from Directron. Why I like it:

-All of the panels are painted black, including the inside
-It has three windows: both sides and top
-It has spots for 5 80mm fans. Mine came with 4 standard fans and 1 tricolor led fan.
-The price is very good.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Make sure you get a newer model one. The last generation had some issues with side panel warping and rattling.

Lian-Li cases are awesome, but I'm still wondering why they don't just hack off the fan holes.. they are pretty restrictive.

Yeah, it can be ok... here's a photo of my Athlon 64 3000+ in a PC-86, which is the same chassis as the PC-60: photo link. Note that the dual exhaust is NOT a standard feature of these, that was a customization that I had done by the vendor. They come with a single 80mm in the rear.

Honestly, you will get better ventilation from most stock-in-a-box Antec cases than in a stock Lian-Li mid-tower, and the steel ones are built quite tough. I would be reluctant to subject my Lian-Li to the ravages of LAN-party travels, for example, and when it's fully built, it's not even very light in weight, despite the aluminum chassis, due to the weight of the other parts in there. Still, it looks kinda classy in its own way (the stealth bay covers don't come with the case either, btw).

The Cooler Master Praetorian Aluminum Mid-Tower case (PAC-T01) looks good. Comes with two front fans one top fan and one rear fan.

The Lian-Li PC-60 had problems? I am looking at getting the black one.

I have a PC-65B that I simply love. Mine has 2 front fans (suck), a rear fan (blow), a top fan (blow), and 2 gpu strategically places window fans (blow). Well, aside from the too many fans, I love the case... I also have a PC-70B (or 71B?) that is huge and cools as well as the 65B with only 4 fans. Both have great fit and finish, and I appreciate the well thought out layouts. The styling isn't the greatest, but that same simplicity offers mods galore.

excaliberpc.com seems to have the best Lian-Li prices lately. I think I've seen the PC-65 for around $120.

I wish Lian-li would make a case with 120mm fan(s). All of my case fans are 80 mm Panaflo L1A or speed controlled Adda. The noise is OK. But I think one or two nice 120mm fans would easilly give similar to better airflow and much less noise. Sonata is appealing, but I don't like the interior layout and functionality as well as the Lian-Li cases.

I am leaning toward the Antec Performance one P160 ATX 128. It comes with low speed 120mm in rear and optional 120mm front. Not sure if I need the front yet. Case is aluminum.
