Saw one at Frys today, and liked it better than the Coolermaster sitting next to it, but they are both WAY expensive. I don`t think I can justify $230.00 for a case, but I`m thinking about it. Just looking for some feedback on this.

You can get one online at mwave.com for $165. It is under the brand "MWAVE". Search the product descriptions for PC60 Aluminum case. The only bad thing is that the case doesn't come with a power supply. I hope this helps!

vfrjim,

Well I took the plunge at MWAVE and got my PC60 in the mail about a week and a half ago. It's purring away on my desk right now, but I'm wondering if anyone experienced the same frustration I did with the internal 3.5" drive mount.

Small Gripe #1: I'm not talking about the 3.5" bays up near the middle of the case below the 5.25" bays, I'm thinking of the drive mount that's screwed into the very bottom of the case. I figured I'd be able to yank it out, mount my 2 45GB IDE drives in it, shove it back in, and screw it back down. Well, unfortunately, once a drive is mounted in there it seems that the 2 screws holding the bracket to the bottom of the case are BLOCKED. So the only way I found to mount the drives is to keep the the drive bracket mounted where it is, remove both side panels from the case, and mount the drives up directly into the bracket. This is a total hassle because it hampers what I thought was the "raison d'etre" of a removable drive bracket, which is that it must be removable Am I missing something here or has anyone else noticed this little problem with what is otherwise an awesome case?

Small Gripe #2: Installing an Enermax power supply in this pup required removing one of the wire fan guards in order to fit it through the back of the case. Anyone else run into this?

I also found that you can get this case from the U.K too at Overclockers.co.uk and look for cases. It is priced pretty steeply, but if you got the $$$ then go fro it is what I say! But for me I will stick with something slightly less!
lol Lian Li sounds like a Hong Kong pop star called Leon Lai!!! Wonder if he started off this company?!?!

Yes, these are very nice, but expensive (especially considering no PS included). I am planning on ordering the same model in black (PC-12), Directron has them for $159 (I think the PC-60's are $189 there too.). I think I may be ordering it from PCMods.com, who has them available moded with a WINDOW for $30 over their $169 price. I will hopefully install a Enermax 451 (430Watt) PS with it, so I guess I'll find out about the fan guard problem also, but haveing the PS slide out looks very cool!

GetInMyFatBelly, I believe the case would need to be modded in order to make an Enermax PS removable. The wire fan guards protrude too far.

I picked up one of these yesterday from a Local supplier here in Calgary. Cost was 200.00 Canadian, at current exchange rates works out to 131.58 US Funds.

Very nice case, looks very cool and nice to work with. I did notice that my CPU temp is showing higher than it was in my Old Tower Case. I am wondering if it would be worth replacing the rear fan with somehting a little better but haven't taken it out yet to see exactly what its specs are.

I was going to get a window put in , but now, after seeing it on my desk I am not going to do that, as it would take away some of that brushed aluminum look and would have to be be put where the recessed handle is for removing the side cover.

GetInMyFatBelly, I have the Lian Li-12 (wanted Black), and I just installed an Enermax 351VE. the previos poster was right though, the fan guard protrudes to much to slide it in. You have to take it off and the put it back on after the PS is in. It was a little tricky, but its in my case now. Now all I need is a motherboard, processor, and Vid Card to go with it.....

I just got a Lian-Li PC60 from Mwave.com.. looks pretty nice, and I'm accumulating components (waiting for P3-1Ghz to drop in price).

I'd like to put a Dual CPU mobo in there, and I'm wondering if anyone has done it. In particular, I'm thinking either Tyan Tiger 200 or, more likely, a MSI 694D-AR or Abit VP6. I have an Enermax 330W Fan Control power supply on the way with some of those cool round ATA100 cables for the raid drives and DVD, CD-R.

docsavage- in the lian li product guide packaged with the case there is a picture of a lian li pc-62 (i think thats the right model) that has extra room for a dual cpu mb.

I saw the PC-62, but I have yet to find anyone selling it. So I just went with the PC-60 from mwave. I think I'll be getting a Tyan Tiger 200 so any PC-60 owners with dual mobos out there?

I have the PC-60 for about a month now, first thing I did was to replace the crappy ADDA fans with Sunon Hi-Output 80's. Not going to be modding this case except maybe a blowhole Case stays about 2 degrees C warmer case closed then case being left open which isn't bad. BTW, the drive bay can be removed with drives in place ( had to do it to change front fans), use a stubby phillips head screwdriver.

Because their output are subpar to the better 80's out there, my case dropped 2 degrees C after changing the fans with no noticable increase in noise.
