I am thinking about buying this case, but I'm not sure if my Zalman Zalman CNPS9500 wouldn't be too tall for this case?? Would it work?

Also, how decent is the air flow in this case?

There's a decent amount of room in the case. It's not huge by any means, but I didn't run into any difficulties installing anything. Unless you've got something absolutely colossal, like an All in Wonder x1900, you should be good.

The airflow just with the stock fans is great - I'm using them with a fan controller since they're a bit noisy - but it's got a ton of additional cooling potential if you need it. You can buy the Plus II bracket from Performance PCs and mount an additional 120mm fan on the side to help cool the VGA area, and you could install an 80mm fan in the top blowhole to help dissipate heat pockets around the top if you need to. That's plenty of airflow potential in my book.

Just curious, would this case easily fit EVGA 8800GTS (currently single, in future two in SLI) ? I can't make my mind about new case...

hmmm... I heard the new longer cards may be a really tight fit but don 't quote me on that.

I'm looking at the picture of that LIAN LI PC-7B plus II at Newegg again, and since the 8800GTS takes 2nd and 3rd expansion slot opening in the case ( I test mounted in my old case), that would align it right between the 3.5" internal (lower) and 3.5" external (upper) cages. Now I really think the Lian case would fit one card without problem (but most likely not 2 cards for SLI)...

proud owner of a Lian Li PC-7B Plus II using a Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 with an 8800GTX, with plenty of room. no problems whatsoever.

Well, I'm considering to get that case..newegg has good deal on them at around $80. Is your 8800GTX card pretty much stretching into the empty space between the upper and lower 3.5" drive cages, without interferring with either of them? If so, then it's a great case for smaller sized system; I considered full tower cases but they're all too bulky, and with unnecessary too much space if I don't use more then 2 HDD's + 1-2 optical drives; plus the 8800 series card off course. I like to see the 120mm fans in the case, there are not too many cases to choose from which would have comparable ventilation...

I like the PC-60 versions a liitle better. I like the removable mobo tray, plus the extra inner room.

I own a Lian Li PC7 Plus II and there is plenty of room in the case for a Zalman and 8800GTX. The airflow is great in this case as it has 2x120mm front and rear fans plus it offers an 80mm top blowhole which I modded to 120mm and added a 120mm side intake. Great case.

So glad to hear it. One less worry for me when I step up to an 8800GTX.

Oh and for the original OP, I've got a Scythe Ninja with a 120mm fan in my PC-7B plus II. The Ninja's 150 millimeters tall while according to this, the Zalman CNPS9500 is only 125 millimeters tall. I think you're good.

You can get a PC-61B Plus2 from Performance PC's and have them add a Side Window, and 12cm Top Blow Hole for about $150. Then you'd have a Front 12cm fan, 80cm cpu air duct, a side 12cm fan, a Top 12cm Fan, and a removable mobo tray. You could also get the PC-7 Plus2 and add a window, 12cm side fan, & 12cm top fan for about $140. 4x12cm fans. But then you wouldn't have the air duct, or the removable mobo tray. Just a thought. I'm considering these as well.
