Yeah, let me know on your cabling nightmare. I used the Antec NeoPower 480 with 2 PATA, 1 SATA, 1 Floppy, 2 DVD-RWs.. and didn't run into much in the issue of cabling problems. While the SATA took a bit of a trick (longer cables, some fitting) the PATA devices cynched together so easy it's not even an issue; and the power cable clutter... no problem.
I'm not sure on the 'video card heat' issue; I'm running a 3700+ AMD64 & a Geforce 6800GT.. I've found that the Antec PS didn't add much to the heat in that corner; and the AMD64 + the back vent fan did a good job of keeping things nice and cool. The biggest benefit is that the video card heat now vents up and away from prime components (CPU, PS).
So far, extremely happy. First case I've seen in years that accomplished what I thought was the right idea; in a sense, this case uses the BTX idea on ATX MBs.
