No matter what, you would still be sitting in the safety of your home talking trash.

Yes. Thats what I was doing. What i wasnt doing is responding to others that because the political winds have changed are all anti war. I showed why Iraq and Libya are different, why don't you prove me wrong?

Are you calling me a neocon you shart-gargling bitch?

Would Europe have been honor bound to bomb the White House if David Koresh had asked for help to save himself from an oppressive government? Or is bombing your own citizens OK as long some fucknut on the internet like Jstorm says it is?

Yeah, I'm sure when Qaddafi is ousted, the rainbows will burst forth from every ass and leprechauns will start dancing in the streets of Tripoli as the rebels install the reincarnation of Mother Theresa on the throne.

You're no better than a neocon you blind moron.

I'm sensing some hostility here. Just remember you are the unemployed veteran of a foreign war. I actually feel bad for you so I'll leave it there.

hahahaha its so funny seeing the neocons all like "no we shouldnt pick sides" now that we arent in charge, its the UN retards not the us.

If the whole world wants to get together and stop a dictator from bombing his own people then its good.

The us going alone into a foreign country with no exit strat and horrible retarded leadership on bunk intel is bad.

Please, even you retards must see this difference.

Thisa is what i wrote. Please tell me why Iraq and Libya are the same.

No, you were talking trash like you do 90% of the time in the forum.

So what. You are trash. peasant.

Coming from a snot nosed punk who still lives at home means absolutely nothing.

Oh right THAT insult. You probably feel better about your own miserable situation when you imagine everyone else is miserable too. You need to step it up if you want to insult me. I'm insulted that you put so little time into a retort to reuse some unimaginative crap on me. I am disappoint.

Oh now I see, you're assuming that I supported the war in Iraq and now support sending troops into Libya. I supported the war in Afghanistan but not Iraq though I do support our troops and feel that they need whatever it takes to get their job done. I think going into Libya is a total waste of time.

Never the less you talk way too much trash for someone who is doing so from the safety of your computer chair.

(Candidate) Obama: "The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation."

I wonder if he will actually hold to his word.

I am anxiously waiting on all those Iraq war protesters to start calling Obama a warmonger, burn him in effigy and get those protest signs ready and waving.

Too little too late. Kaddafi already routed rebels, now house to house death squads get payback. Without a invasion there is no stopping it.

Actually as far as I can tell, neoconservatives are critical of Obama for not already being in Libya. And it looks like it'll be Britain, France and the U.S. (but mostly the U.S.) going into Libya with no plan, no exit strategy, no leadership and no intelligence.

There differences are there - they're worse.

This is true. I watch FOX (for the babes) and they have been going on and on for weeks how Obama should have struck.

So were you in favor of the removal of Saddam because he was a cruel dictator who killed his own people?

Yes or No.

All I am saying is the UN going in and enforcing a no fly zone is way different then bush going in on false information to take over a country with no exit strat or anything remotely resembling diplomacy.

1.) The UN isn't going to enforce jack shit by themselves hence their reliance on the US to lead the way.

2.) We had a UN approved no-fly zone and sanctions against Iraq under Bush Sr., Clinton, and Bush Jr. that your ilk was against before the Iraq war of 2000. The UN gave Bush the go ahead for the War.

3.) Again answer the question.

Did you agree with the outcome of the Iraq war and the removal of Saddam Hussein because he had a record of slaughtering his own people just like Gaddafi?

Edit: What exactly is the exit strategy for this operation?

To make that claim I believe you need to know what our objectives are in Libya. If the objective is merely to prevent Khadaffy from killing them with aircraft, so he kill them with tanks/artillery or rifles, fine.

If it's anything more, I'd appreciate you detailing out how it's all that different.

Iraq was stable with no rebellion, not in a state of war. Libya is in a civil war with significant combined forces against Q. This situation has more similarities with the Kosovo War than with Operation @*#( up Iraq, 2003.
