Turns out willy1 who had this to say:

"I think there is a big difference between having a couple of friends add their cycles to your account if they aren't interested enough in DC to have their own account, or be affiliated with a team, and what is going on over at AnandTech.

Changed his account name from willy1 to Condor_fdc in an effort to add his 21846units to Condor's, only problem is...it didn't work...:beer: Now how's this for saying one thing and doin another...

Hey borg, I was over there reading the forum on this..... What a bunch of cry babies. Who really cares who is 1st or second, or even third for that matter, we're having fun doing this. If we get Silverthorne to # 2, good show. If we don't, nice try and life goes on. I stopped mine at ~67,000 just to help out a TeAmmate and have a little fun. I could have kept crunching under my own, and possibly gotten to ~75,000 and dropped more people in the rankings, but I wanted to help out a friend. I'm sure they have probably done it at one time or another, and we or anyone else, did not cry FOUL.

Here's to Silverthorne:beer:, if we had more time, I would help him take 1st too:thumbsup:

p.s. Maybe they should join a better team........ such as maybe AnandTech?????

I had to stop to look up how to spell hypocrite (still doesn't look right... ) just so I could post over there.

When I crunched DF I spent several trips in and out of the FreeDC forums. Don't forget that the vast majority of them are cool. It's a shame they feel obligated to stand behind that jerk (Ironbits) that came here and stirred up the shzt because he is one of their own.

They keep pointing out differences between what they do everyday and the "evil" that we are doing by helping Silverthorne. I gotta call BS.... Only difference is that we are helping an adjenda that is not theirs.

Is all this extra cpu power even going to help anything productive at LM? They had a difficult time enough the way it is processing wu's, and now all this. I'd be glad to join in and support TA and silerthorne, but would like to know that LM hasn't already stopped using our data. Reasonable question?

To answer one of your questions, most of the people helping Silverthorne are currently active in LM, so these aren't all new people starting.

The other question...I honestly don't know the answer to... But how about letting TA end LM with a BANG!

I am kinda confused on this. People calling other people stats whores and such, complaining about TA boosting someone up a spot. Would this complaining and fighting have even started if the person that would lose #2 spot was not a Free-DC member? I think that it wouldn't have, just my two cents, so please don't flame me

Free-DC has always seemed like a nice group of people that dun start flame wars, at least that I can remember. So can we just let teams do the things that they want to and not start fights?

Actually, I think it was IronBits from Free-DC that came over to OUR forum and started all this. Then he goes back to their forums and gets people there all worked up.

I guess you think it is a good point because you weren't here when it began. Ironbits came into this forum and decided to moralize and call people names....

If that pissed off enough people to get 9 posts on their forum... it certainly doesn't put them in the right!

Read what I posted earlier Danzig. Iread what was posted there, but you won't find any from me. I agree, let's just get Silverthorne to #2 and not worry about them.
